I was recommended this product by a beauty consultant at one of the Benefit counters about 6motnhs ago.
She advised it will make my make up last longer and give me a smother finish, something that interested me as I tend to get break outs if I use sunscreen or foundation with an oil base.

I use this regularly for about a month, applying directly to my face and then foundation over the top. If I am honest I didn't notice much difference in the finish of my makeup, but it did make my make up last longer - brilliant for those days when you have an appointment after work and might not have time to reapply.

The only down side I found is that if I continued to use everyday it seemed to cause breakouts. As soon as I stopped using this product daily these spots cleared up. Also if you do use this product daily it doesn't seem to last all that long. Could be an additional expense for not a lot of gain.

I guess all in all I am not a big fan of primers and therefore will probably not purchase the Benefit that gal again. However if I do ever get my hands on one I will try using it just by itself as other people recommended in previous reviews. I never thought of doing this and would be interested in seeing the results.

Summary: OK but i would not use daily, only use on the odd occasions
