Advantages: Smells like rasberry milkshake!!

Disadvantages: £19.50 for what looks like a pritt stick!

After reading a review in a magazine how Benefit 'that gal' is a must have product, I decided to use my feminine charm and had it bought for me as a gift :)

I regularly use Benefit products, its a mixture of the quality and the kitsch packaging. They are a popular high street brand and can be found in most department stores such as Debenhams, Selfridges and larger Boots, but you can also buy online from the Benefit website. The packaging always depicts total femininity with a quirky name.

One first impression of the product I thought it looked like a pritt stick, and to work the tube you have to treat it like one. You give the bottom a twist and the product comes out of little holes at the top. For the first use you may have to give it a few good twists or you will be sat wondering whether you have been given an empty tube.

The purpose of the product is a primer, used alone or under make up it should give a flaweless and brighter appearance to the skin due to the light reflecting pigments. I have to say when I use it under my foundation I do find that it helps it glide on more smoothly and also gives a glow without looking like iv been rolling around in a tub of glitter. The only time I would be brave enough to use this alone would be on holiday when your skin seems to look better anyway.

To use the product you simply blend a small amount over your face, easy! It has quite a sweet smell and a baby pink colour which makes it more appealing to use and smoothes on very easily.

The websites description of the product is :

"Go from dull to darling with "that gal." It's a silky pink primer that makes skin appear smoother & brighter. Wear alone for clear complexion radiance or apply before makeup for smooth, effortless application. Re-brighten during the day with "that gal." It's "that gal" perfection for a happy complexion.

Tips and tricks: Twist the base until the primer is distributed on the top. Apply with fingertips onto the face. Blend this silky pink primer in an even, upward motion. Wear alone, or under makeup for smoother makeup application. Gently pat on during the day to re-brighten your complexion"

The only downside to the product is that it's £19.50, and my theory is that if my skin is kept clean and healthy through good eating etc I shouldnt need a primer...however I dont follow this lifestyle so it is needed :)

Definately worthwhile if your skin needs a little pick me up!!

Summary: The best primer I've used
