My make up regime has remained pretty much unchanged for the past few years- foundation, blusher, eyes and lips. I didn't moisturise, exfoliate, cleanse, tone or anything else. However, I have been developing sensitive skin over the past couple of years and my usual make up, as much as I love the quality, was a bit too heavy for every day use. Also, I have a job which doesn't really lean to a fully made up face every day. So I needed to find something which took care of my skin and didn't leave me feeling naked.

I received a sample of That Gal Primer in a bumper pack of goodies and thought I'd give it a go. It is a smooth pink liquid which is dispensed very easily through a clever little applicator. The base is twisted and the primer is distributed through the small holes at the top. I swipe the liquid off with my fingertips and apply it evenly to my face. The liquid feels smooth and cool and blends in very well. It doesn't affect my sensitive skin and leaves it feeling moisturised and healthy.

I wear the primer alone and find that it gives my face a bright, smooth complexion without looking 'made up' or feeling at all heavy. It is possible to wear the primer under make up, however I find it again a bit heavy when worn under foundation, bronzer or blusher. I find I need to reapply the primer again halfway through the day to top up my look.

The primer comes in one shade and size- it is an 11ml bottle. It costs £21.50 whic, at first, I thought was a little expensive, but it is a good quality product which lasts me about two months of wearing it aorund five days a week. I don't apply a very thick coat because I don't feel it's needed!

This is an excellent little product which is now my regular day to day product! Highly recommended!
