I am a great fan of Benefit make-up, and some would question if I can be truly objective when rating their products, but 'You Rebel' is proof of my reliability here! 'You Rebel', it is claimed, will blend to suit any skin tone and still give good coverage- a tall order, but one which I was more than willing to test. With their high standard of product, I thought I was on pretty safe ground trying another of my favourite cosmetic company's offerings. I had high hopes for 'You Rebel', hoping that with the Summer months to come I could depend upon good coverage, a light feeling tinted moisturiser, and SPF 15. However, in my case, 'You Rebel' just didn't ... Read the complete review

When I had my free Benefit makeover the girl used You Rebel on my face, taking her time and using a brush. It took a while but I was so impressed when I looked in the mirror because it gave me face a flawless, tanned but not over the top look. So what is it, do you ask? You Rebel is a tinted moisturiser that only comes in one colour, suitable for all. It has SPF protection of 15, and it also gives your face a pretty matte appearance. I would like to say how much it costs, but I don't remember. It's from Benefit so it is pretty pricey. I bought You Rebel, and although I never use it by itself (I seem to lack the patience to take my time over it!) I ... Read the complete review

I always like to try out new products (Unless something I am using is beyond good - Take the Touche Eclat - Miracles will happen for me to now switch over) so with summer coming up I have been looking for a tinted moisturiser. The next on my list to test again (I'm sure I used this way back when, when my housemate was a Benefit addict also) was You Rebel by Benefit. This is marketed as a tinted moisturiser - Basically a very light coverage that will look after you skin. So. If you are looking to really cover blemishes and even out scarring and patchy skin tone this might not be the product for you, but, if you generally have good skin and are looking for ... You rebel is a tinted moisturiser from benefit retailing at £23.50, it acts as a lightweight foundation giving your face full coverage and SPF 15 protection all at the same time. As well as this the 50ml product also contains aloe, vitamin a and e; all known to soothe and improve the skins appearance. The product can be purchased from boots, Debenhams, or can be dispatched within 24 hours from www.benefitscosmetics.co.uk. Again this product was first introduced to me when I had a make-up trial at boots. I do not tend to wear foundation during the day, so this tinted moisturised was perfect for me. It was easy to apply with a make-up brush; it was quite subtle ... Read the complete review

This really really suited my skin. I find full on foundation really blocks my pores and causes nasty blockages. As this is a moisturiser too and no pure foundation I did not find I had that problem. However prevously I have found other tinted moisturisers didn't blend well with my skin tone and didn't hide spots at all. It covered any discolouration and blemishes to a point where they didn't look bad, although they were still visible to the naked eye. My skin tone is pretty pale and when the moisturiser was squeezed out of the tube I was really skeptical about it working at it looked very dark. I have never found it's too much of a ...
