... there are no marks. I have never had a problem with it causing lines at the edge of my face either. I went for a Benefit makeover which was absolutely great (try to get a free makeover if you can - it allows you to see a good range of testers). I got to try several of their foundations and this was the one I found did not feel greasy and did not irritate or make my skin feel blocked. Worth the money, although more expensive than some highstreet brands, I think it worth it...more

Premium Review BeneFit You Rebel: Rebel Rebel (568 words)
by - written on 10/04/08 (Very useful, 320 readings)
Rating:

You Rebel from Benefit is a tinted moisturiser that, surprisingly, does what it says and works on all skin tones. I have been using this for about 15 months now and it still hasn't run out, even though I use it almost every day. Even though it seems quite expensive at £19.50 for a tube, its Benefit which is a good quality make, and like I said, it does last for quite a long time. *Why I love it* I have ginger hair and pale freckly skin, which looks blotchy sometimes and makes spots and bags under my eyes look really obvious. I spent years trying to find a foundation or concealer that would work on my skin tone without making me look pasty, but to no ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review I didn't get the Benefits (1337 words)

*INTRODUCTION-A LITTLE ABOUT BENEFIT!* Benefit, as most people know, is my favourite ever make up brand. Their products work brilliantly, make you look amazing but are also a little bit different. Benefit produce products that no other company would do. Their presentation is fun, kitschy and unique, these are products that look good on you face but which you are also proud to display in your room! The downside to Benefit of course, is the price. Generally I am a Rimmel girl even though I would quite happily buy all of my make up from Benefit. This is because no person could possibly afford to fork out £20 for every single product they own! ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review BeneFit You Rebel: Maybe I am the rebel, cos it didnt work for me! (338 words)

I am a great fan of Benefit make-up, and some would question if I can be truly objective when rating their products, but 'You Rebel' is proof of my reliability here! 'You Rebel', it is claimed, will blend to suit any skin tone and still give good coverage- a tall order, but one which I was more than willing to test. With their high standard of product, I thought I was on pretty safe ground trying another of my favourite cosmetic company's offerings. I had high hopes for 'You Rebel', hoping that with the Summer months to come I could depend upon good coverage, a light feeling tinted moisturiser, and SPF 15. However, in my case, 'You Rebel' just didn't ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Very loveable tinted moisturiser! (244 words)

When I had my free Benefit makeover the girl used You Rebel on my face, taking her time and using a brush. It took a while but I was so impressed when I looked in the mirror because it gave me face a flawless, tanned but not over the top look. So what is it, do you ask? You Rebel is a tinted moisturiser that only comes in one colour, suitable for all. It has SPF protection of 15, and it also gives your face a pretty matte appearance. I would like to say how much it costs, but I don't remember. It's from Benefit so it is pretty pricey. I bought You Rebel, and although I never use it by itself (I seem to lack the patience to take my time over it!) I ...  Read the complete review

Crowned Review BeneFit You Rebel: I BeneFit From You Rebel (1586 words)
by - written on 14/10/03 (Very useful, 2135 readings)

BeneFit seems to be taking off in the UK after creating such versatile products from lip-glosses to a skin care range. Most products do have original yet strange names, which makes them, stand out, and this product 'You rebel' (formerly known as 'I am rebel') is no different. How many times have you bought a foundation and applied it only to notice a fake effect on your face (think Liza Minelli or Hilary Duff). To me this is a regular occurrence, as foundation just doesn't suit me, it either looks like I've caked it on, or I've used none at all, it seems impossible to find a balance between the two. Rather than using said foundation I prefer ...  Read the complete review
