Premium Review BeneFit You Rebel: Make up but not to block (231 words)
by - written on 15/06/09 (Very useful, 156 readings)
Rating:

This really really suited my skin. I find full on foundation really blocks my pores and causes nasty blockages. As this is a moisturiser too and no pure foundation I did not find I had that problem. However prevously I have found other tinted moisturisers didn't blend well with my skin tone and didn't hide spots at all. It ...  Read the complete review

When it gets really hot in the summer I find that wearing full on foundation can be a bit much and often prefer to opt for the tinted moisturiser look, either buying a proper tinted moisturiser or often mixing my regular foundation with a bit of moisturiser to give a more dewey look. Benefit's You Rebel was one of the first tinted moisturisers I ...  Read the complete review

BeneFit You Rebel comes in two colours, Original YouRebel and YouRebel Lite both £19.50 for 50ml. YouRebel is a tinted moisturiser. To give you a little background on tinted moisturisers - they are ideally suited for wear during the summer time at the beach, or when you want just a light coverage for example you are popping out to the ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Fresh, Light and now also available in a paler shade (285 words)
by - written on 18/01/09 (Useful, 112 readings)
Rating:

The biggest problem that most people have found in the past with You Rebel has been the colour tone - whilst claiming to suit all skin tones, many of those with paler skins have simply found it to be too dark. I agree - the original shade is great for me in the summer - but too dark for my pasty, pale british winter skintone. I guess the makers ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review BeneFit You Rebel: The benefits are obvious (382 words)
by - written on 06/11/08 (Very useful, 181 readings)

Up until this time last year I never actually wore makeup at all but my friend asked me to be her bridesmaid. After having a complete disaster with her beauty therapist she informed me that I'd have to do my own makeup on the day! Naturally I was a bit flustered about this because I didn't want to be bothering her with questions about my makeup on ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review funny colour (227 words)
by - written on 09/10/08 (Useful, 143 readings)
Rating:

This is another disappointing benefit buy for me. I got this about 4 years ago and wanted something nice and light for summer, that would give me a hint of colour. I hate the feeling of caked on make up in hot weather so I thought this would be ideal as it is a moisturiser that would give me a nice hint of colour. I don't like how this ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review BeneFit You Rebel: give yourself a glow! (160 words)

I actually quite like this product! It was the first tinted moisturiser I have every tried and I reckon i got off to a good start! It is pretty light and easily absorbed although if you have f=very fair skin it wont work for you. However Benefit have now brought out a lighter version for fair skin. Usefully it also contains spf 15 so is an alround ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Brown boot polish (178 words)

You Rebel is another miss by Benefit as far as I am concerned, I think they are also aware of the problems with this as you can now buy You Rebel Light which is a much better product. For a start Benefit claim it will 'adjust to almost any skin tone' - like pants it will!!! If you are quite fair you end up looking like you have been smearing brown ...  Read the complete review

I love the benefit make up range and when i treat myself this is one of the first brands that i look at. Benefit has a wide variety of make up and what a better to place to start in the summer than Benefit You Rebel, which is a tinted moisturiser with spf 15 in it. What more you you ask for from a tinted moisturiser it goes ...  Read the complete review

I hadn't bought anything from benefit until I came across this stuff. I have incredibly pale skin and found it incredibly difficult to find and foundation pale enough for my skin tone. i use the you rebel light which is a little lighter that the you rebel original. I was incredibly impressed i bought it 3 months ago and I still have 3/4s of a tube ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review BeneFit You Rebel: Rebel Rebel (568 words)
by - written on 10/04/08 (Very useful, 323 readings)

You Rebel from Benefit is a tinted moisturiser that, surprisingly, does what it says and works on all skin tones. I have been using this for about 15 months now and it still hasn't run out, even though I use it almost every day. Even though it seems quite expensive at £19.50 for a tube, its Benefit which is a good quality make, and like I said, it ...  Read the complete review

I am a great fan of Benefit make-up, and some would question if I can be truly objective when rating their products, but 'You Rebel' is proof of my reliability here! 'You Rebel', it is claimed, will blend to suit any skin tone and still give good coverage- a tall order, but one which I was more than willing to test. With their high ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review BeneFit You Rebel: I didn't get the Benefits (1337 words)
by - written on 16/02/08 (Very useful, 986 readings)

*INTRODUCTION-A LITTLE ABOUT BENEFIT!* Benefit, as most people know, is my favourite ever make up brand. Their products work brilliantly, make you look amazing but are also a little bit different. Benefit produce products that no other company would do. Their presentation is fun, kitschy and unique, these are products that look good on ...  Read the complete review

When I had my free Benefit makeover the girl used You Rebel on my face, taking her time and using a brush. It took a while but I was so impressed when I looked in the mirror because it gave me face a flawless, tanned but not over the top look. So what is it, do you ask? You Rebel is a tinted moisturiser that only comes in one colour, ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review BeneFit You Rebel: Clearly beneficial (666 words)

I do like products from the benefit range, and whilst they are often quite pricey, they do tend to "do the job" and last quite a long time. Not particularly liking heavy foundations, this has been my favourite cover up for a while now, and I because a little goes a long way, I tend to but two a year ~~What is ...  Read the complete review

My wedding day was fast approaching, and as I never wear foundation only tinted moisturiser, I wanted something different for the big day. Premium Review Bad product title - great performance though (270 words)
by - written on 20/01/06 (Useful, 382 readings)
Rating:

If I hadn't had a recommendation to buy this I wouldn't have. The title would have turned me off straight away. The colour is good and the finish smooth and even. It feels good on my skin but initially after applying is very easy to rub off - though is seems to 'settle' after a few minutes. It certainly makes the skin feel ...  Read the complete review

I have to admit, I am quite easily taken in by things people say. So while I was sat on the stool at the Benefit counter having my make-up done, I believed the assistant when she told me I looked better than I had in my whole life. Even though I looked quite different. I have quite pale skin and go for the 'ballerina' style make-up ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Makes your skin look patchy and it actually goes out of date ... (83 words)

This is truely an awful foundation. I bough one last year and it was impossible to apply. It went on really patchy and I wear foundation most days and never have a problem. I couldnt believe it went past its sell by date a month and a half after buying it. I think alot of benefit products are way over rated for what they are. I would much rather ...  Read the complete review
