Advantages: Yummy tasting, good for your lips, lovely colours
Disadvantages: you'll keep licking your lips, so have to re-apply it all the time!
Pucker up with the divine Bloom range of lipglosses. With four great colours to choose from you'll be at a loss to decide which to try first. 'Smooch' is a pearly pinkish colour that would suit many people, but I tend to prefer darker colours on my lips. 'Pout' is a natural lip-pink/peach colour that should suit everyone, no matter what their colouring. 'Smirk' is a bronzey gold colour that would fabulous on darker skinned people. 'Glamour Queen' is a gorgeous blackberry colour that makes you look like you've been biting into woodland fruits. Each lipgloss is packaged in a 1950's retro-style box, the gloss itself coming in a tube with sponge applicator. The glosses aren't simply gorgeous to wear, but smell and taste lovely, too! The glosses are flavoured with essential oils of mandarin and vanilla...yummy! You can wear these over your normal lipstick for extra shine, or on their own for a hint of colour that keeps lips moist - perfect for the winter to banish sore and chapped lips. I don't normally go for shiny lipsticks, but these have changed my mind - I think this is because they aren't too shiny or sticky feeling - I can't stand my hair blowing about in the wind and ending up glooped to my lips! There are other colours in the range, but I have chosen to tell you about these four as they are the ones included in the *incredible* bargain deal I'm about to inform you of... The Bloom lipglosses normally retail for around 9 quid each - not a price I would normally pay for a lipgloss, it has to be said, however good they promise to be (and, in this case, actually are). However, in conjunction with Marie Claire Magazine, the website perfuma.com have got together with aol shop to offer a *free* bloom lipgloss to everyone who buys something from Perfuma.com The Post and Packing is absolutely f
ree, and the cheapest item I could find on the website was 1.50 (in haircare/styling section) - this was a sample of intensive conditioner. This means that you can grab one of the Bloom lipglosses for only 1.50p, instead of 9.00! I chose 'Glamour Queen' as my free lipgloss (you can choose from the 4 I mentioned) - I adore the colour and would definitely get it again, even at full-price. It left my lips soft, smooth and tasting gorgeous (so my bf said ;-) The colour didn't last all day, you wouldn't expect a gloss to anyway, but it did keep my lips feeling moist all day and got rid of that horrible tight feeling you can get when being blown about by freezing winds. If you'd like to get your lipgloss for a bargain price, just follow this link: http://www.aol.co.uk/shop/marieclaire and choose which colour you'd like. Then go to the perfuma.com link on the page and choose what you want to order. When you get to a box which asks you what giftwrap text you want, write: 'Free Bloom Lipgloss' and the colour you'd like. There you go, easy peasy! Meanwhile, whilst you go grabbing bargains, I'm off to lick my lips some more.... ;-)
