Advantages: Makes your lashes stand out, Very reasonably priced, Boots stores are widely available and are also on the net

Disadvantages: Packaging can go very tatty after a while, n/a, n/a

Boots big volume mascara is an everyday mascara that is quite low in price and anyone who uses mascara religiouly like me, will know that a half decent one is a must if you want to go out looking normal but sometimes money can be a bit tight and we can't treat ourselves to that really expensive one at the Debenhams counter!

I have big blue eyes and like to make the most of them by wearing lots of mascara and eye-make up to enhance them - and I am well known for it!

Im always buying mascara of all sorts of price ranges from £4 to £15, but I was really skint one month so I asked my friend if she knew of a good one that I could afford. (she always has eye make up on perfectly). She told me to look in boots as they had good ones in the Boots 17 range that were quite good value. At the time this mascara cost just over £4, but now costs £4.50 - It wont be good value soon! You can only buy it from boots stores or www.wellbeing.com as it is a boots product.

Looking at the packaging, it was fairly difficult to spot on the shelves as it comes in a dark navy tube with a silver lid, and boots store them so you can only see the tops of the lids which makes it difficult to see but you can locate the colour you want more easily. The packaging is quite smart in fairness, especially for a fairly cheapy mascara and did look quite nice in my make-up bag.

This mascara is amazing because it not only lengthens your eyelashes, it makes them really thick as well so you know that you can flutter your eyelids as much as you want.

The advantages are:-
- Its really thick so you get big eyelashes

- It lasts all day, so you don't have to re-apply in your lunchbreak

- Many colours to choose from

- Not too expensive

- Fairly Stylish Packaging

- Easy to get hold of, there are Boots stores everywhere

- Makes eyes look big and beautiful

- Easty to apply

- and doesn't g
o clumpy.

- Not waterproof so I can get it off easily!

The disadvantages are:-

- Its large brush can be awkward - I have spent many a day wiping it off my eyelids or accidentaly hitting my nose!

- Once you use the majority of the tube, it goes too dry and quality of colour and texture is very bad!

- Not waterproof for you swimmers!

- Not as good as more expensive brands

As you can see, the advantages outweigh the disadvantages and now I use this one all of the time. One that definately stays in my handbag for everyday use and its especially good for skint months!

Overall, if you buy expensive mascaras you would probably notice a difference but for everyday wear, you cannot go wrong. Recommended!
