After seeing the price of the 17 glitter solo eye shadows at £3.49 a pot in Boots I thought they were worth a try at that price. I purchased the Gold Digger shade, which was as it describes, gold in colour. It comes in a small plastic pot with a clear lid you screw on and off, with the base being deep blue in colour. The number 17 is labelled on the top of the clear lid. The texture of the eye shadow was quite smooth for a powder, which I was quite impressed with. The eye shadow kept its form in the pot for a long while and did not crumble over time - this was a bonus as it wasn't messy. The colour was rich and sparkly, just as I'd hoped ... I don't often buy make-up, especially eyeshadow, and when I do I'm always surprised at how expensive it can be! This is why I choose the Boots 17 brand for my make-up, as it is generally good quality and cheap in addition to earning you advantage points. The Glitter Solo Eyeshadow costs about £3.49 for a small pot with a clear lid. This is quite good value compared to other products which can charge around £10 just for one eyeshow. It has a nice swirl design when you first open (I didn't want to ruin it!) and it comes with an applicator but it can be easily applied with a brush or your finger. I bought the shade "champagne" which is a lovely bronze ... Read the complete review

I spotted a gift set of Boots 17 products really cheap (£1 for eyeshadow, nail polish and mascara) so just had to get it, if only to test them out as I've not really used the brand before. Usually this eyeshadow costs £3.49 so I got great value for money here. As you'd expect from something called Glitter Solo Eyeshadow, this is a glittery eyeshadow. The one I have is a silver colour but it also comes in white, pink, green, blue, gold, brown and black so there should be a colour for everyone. The pot is a small screw top one with a clear top so you can see the eyeshadow colour through it. There's no applicator, but many products don't come with ... Read the complete review

I have not purchased 17 Makeup for a long time now, I used it quite a lot when I first started using makeup as it was quite reasonably priced. I was given a set of 17 makeup as a present for christmas which included the glitter eyeshadow that I am reviewing. ===== The Product ==== The glitter eyeshadow comes in a small round black compact with a clear screw on lid allowing you to see the product inside, the pot is quite deep although as with most products like this the eyeshadow is in small silver try which is half the size of the pot. As you look at the eyeshadow it does seem to have a high glitter content and as the ... Read the complete review

I bought this Boots 17 Glitter Eye Shadow at the same time that I bought the glitter eyeliner (see previous review) as I wanted sparkly eyes for the Christmas season. The shade I'm reviewing is called 'Spirit' and it's a silver/grey colour. It's also available in the following shades: 'Style Queen' (white/silver) 'Heart Breaker' (pink) 'Chalice' (brown) 'Gold Digger' (gold) 'Superstar' (green) 'Night Sky' (black) 'Socialite' (blue) The two featured in the picture on Dooyoo I would say are 'Socialite' and 'Style Queen'. I would've actually preferred the 'Night Sky' shade but it wasn't available so I just chose 'Spirit' ... Read the complete review
