Bargain biscuit

I have an eye for a bargain and I'm a sucker for a free gift, so when I saw a 17 offer in my local Boots, I decided to snap up a couple of things. As I was in need of a new liquid foundation, this one caught my eye. At just £6.29 for 30ml I think this is really good value - the bottle is a lot larger than other more expensive liquid foundations I've tried. And if you buy this right now you'll get a free gift from 17 too.

I bought the shade called Biscuit - it also comes in five other shades so there will be something for most people.

Trendy tube

The bottle is a plastic tube shape - a bit smaller than a tube of Smarties. There is some simple lettering on it but generally the packaging is smart and easy on the eye. The tube is see-through so you can see the product inside and how much is left. The cap is black and, underneath, there is a push-down style dispenser. I find one or two small pushes delivers the exact amount of the liquid I need. I then dot this evenly over my face before gentle smoothing in.

The liquid is very smooth indeed and the product goes on really easily, absorbing well into my skin. I find this provides me with really good coverage, without looking obvious, and the liquid doesn't go chalky or cakey after application. My skin feels smooth and even after application, and I don't spend any time at all blending it in as it sinks into the skin so easily.

However I am not sure this would work so well if you have very dry or oily skin - I think it is best suited to normal skin as it has a slightly oily consistency which may not work for everyone.

A great product

As this is such a generously sized product I can see this lasting me for many months. This is the perfect natural base for the rest of my make-up and I'm really pleased with the results - and the price! Definitely recommended.
