I bought the Boots 17 Infinite Lash Defining Mascara before Christmas, having had a crisis on the way to work when I realised I'd forgotten to put any make-up on apart from my usual foundation, having been distracted in the middle of getting ready by a tantrum from my two year old. As I never go to work without a full face of make-up, this caused me to go running to the nearest branch of Boots as soon as I got off the tube. On browsing the slightly limited range of make-up (it's a small Boots), I decided that I should stick to a small budget and just buy something basic and relatively cheap. This goes against my usual policy that you get what you pay for when ... Read the complete review

A friend recently bought this and after finding she didnt like it she handed it over to me. I never say no to freebies. It is mascara from Boots own range 17 which means its quite cheap however it doesnt necessarily mean the quality will be bad as I have used 17 products before and have found them to be quite good. The mascra tube looks quite sophiticated and more expensive then the few pounds she probley spent on it. The tube is black yet there is a silver lid and the writing is also silver this gives it quite a contemprary feel and I love the fact it is quite understated as there isnt loads of writing on it with claims about what this mascara ... I needed a new mascara, and being on a budget decided to avoid the likes of Max Factor and Maybelline and headed to Boots own 17 range to try out one of theirs. I settled on the Infinite Lash mascara at a reasonable £4.99 and even better the whole range was on 3 for 2 so I stocked up on a few other essentials. The mascara is the new one of the 17 range and the claims on the back are as follows - "Flexible brush evenly coats and seperates lashes for superb length and definition. No clumps, just fabulous lashes!" I don't think I've ever used a mascara that does everything it claims (admittedly I refuse to cross the £15 mark) but this isn't ... Read the complete review

I cannot tell you how much I love this mascara!!!! I have tried soooo many mascaras over the years, and although not overly sensitive I find many mascaras flaky and this does irritate my eyes. Moreover, I have never found any of the wild claims of max factor and maybelline etc to be anywhere near reality. Usually I find satisfactory results, but certainly not the huge curl, no clump definition promised. This little beauty however, makes the much more expensive mascaras look foolish. It dosn't flake or peel, and provides actual definition without being spidery-the holy grail of mascara effects. Although not marketed as a waterproof mascara, if you ... Read the complete review
