Packaging- The packaging of the product is very plain and isn't as fancy as some other liquid eyeliner products; so if you like pretty products in your makeup bag this isn't the product for you as its simply functional. Boots No.17 liquid eyeliner isn't for me! Although I don't disagree with reviews stating this item is great for a thin flexible nib it just isn't for me. I'm not a big make up person although I like to wear make up quite regularly, I unlike others can't justify spending or asking others to spend major amounts on the elite make up brands when boots No. 17 and many others are a lot cheaper and do the same job in my book. As a huge fan of Benefit, Mac, Lancome...etc it was only because my local boots had run out (yes really!) of every other black eye-liner (besides the pencils or ones that had been opened and used by school kids) so I had no choice but to buy the no.17 version. I really just wanted to make my eyes stand out and my mascara wasn't really enough for me. The eye-liner comes in a navy blue tube with a ridge around the bottom of the lid, very minimal, and states that its by 17 and is a black eye-liner. Nothing special. When I bought this eyeliner I was slightly sceptical as to how good it would be as it was a lot cheaper then some of the better brands such as Maybelinne or loreal, however as I was on a budget this eyeliner was all I could really afford. The tube it is in is a very dark navy blue, almost black, 17 is written in chunky bubble wirting which is silver and the product name is in smaller writing at the bottom.
