Just as good as maybelline (Boots 17 Liquid Eyeliner)

Advantages: Easy to apply, cheap, doesnt smudge

When I bought this eyeliner I was slightly sceptical as to how good it would be as it was a lot cheaper then some of the better brands such as Maybelinne or loreal, however as I was on a budget this eyeliner was all I could really afford.

The tube it is in is a very dark navy blue, almost black, 17 is written in chunky bubble wirting which is silver and the product name is in smaller writing at the bottom. Personally the item doesnt look very luxrious it looks quite cheap, but I suppose as long as it does what its supposed to that doesnt matter too much. The top unscrews and is easy to get on and off, the applicator is attached to the lid like all of them, the brush on this is very thin but I find this a good point as it should make applying the eyeliner a lot easier.

The brush seems to hold onto a lot of the eyeliner so you may find you'll need to wipe some off on the rim of the tube otherwise you might create a bit of a mess. However once I began applynig it I found as I expected that the thin brush meant the eyeliner went on precisley where I wanted it to. The onyl problem with it was I like quite thick lines and this brush only gave a very thin line, however going over it gave me the thickness I wanted so this wasnt too much of a problem.

Now I am one for rubbing my eyes for various reasons and so I have to be quite careful about mascaras/eyeliners I use in case they end up smudged all over my face however after chekcing my eyes every few hours I found that this eyeliner didnt smudge at all, in fact it had barely even faded by the time I got home from work.

This is definatley a bargain buy liner its cheap but for me works just as well as all the other more expensive brand out there!
