Advantages: Good quality and stays on a while...

Disadvantages: They need to make some cool colours!

I got a whole bag full of No17 makeup products last Christmas which was really cool, some things I loved but there was an eyeliner pencil in there that I didn't :(

This Boots own brand No17 eyeliner pencil is about 4 inches long and quite thick and stubby.

The last time I looked at the price in Boots it was £3.71 which is pretty reasonable for a good eyeliner as they last for months even when you use them on a daily basis :)

The reason I didn't like this product was not that there was anything wrong with it - it was just the yucky metallic gold colour I'd been given, lol!

Everything I wear is Black because Black is so cool, gold is not...

I did try it out though a few times at home and then ended up giving it away.

The product could be used as a thick eyeliner on its own or as the write up says on the wooden pencil it can be blended over another colour to achieve 'a stunning metallic finish'.

The contents are really quite soft and easy to use; the pencil glides on without pulling at my eyes and was really shiny and pretty bright.
I though it looked more yellowy than gold, but I guess yellow is the base colour and the little golden specs are mixed into it?

It says fragrance free on it and to use in six months - I think that's because makeup can start harbouring germs after than amount of time so we are told to throw it away...

It is very glittery and bright so that's why I would not wear it but it was a good pencil in terms of how easy it was to draw onto the skin, and it looked good gently smeared under the eyes too.

I am probably being a bit harsh about the colour so I will give five stars for the actual eye makeup itself as it did a good job and stayed on a good while too so is worth the money.

Summary: It was a good makeup pencil - worth the money!
