I bought this mascara from Boots, which is the only place you can buy it from, for the small price of just £4. Anyone who buys make up knows that most mascaras you get in Boots are priced around £10 on average so £4 is very reasonable and one of the cheapest prices you will find in a Boots or probably any other department store.
I bought this thinking that for just £4 I couldn't go wrong, the price is very good and this mascara definitely earns at least 2 stars for being such a bargain.

The packaging is not the most interesting or appealing, it is simply just a small plain black bottle with the name of the product written across it in silver writing. The style of the writing is also pretty boring as it is in simple capital letters. There is not much design on the bottle and I am also not that keen on the shape. I don't really like how the lid is thinner than the width of the bottle. So thumbs down for packaging - but hey, this was a cheap product after all so there has to be downsides to it somewhere, and its just a good thing the downsides aren't on the mascara itself and the way it looks when on.

The brush is quite good. It has a slight curve which makes it easier to apply as you just brush it along your eye lashes and don't have to hold it upside down or at any angle to tilt it to get it to be in the right position to coat your lashes. It is a little thick but this means it holds more mascara on it so can give your eyelashes a nice full volume sort of effect. It isn't too clumpy and it is definitely not sticky. However sometimes because the bristles on the brush are so thick it means that it can sometimes get on your eyelids.

This isn't waterproof so I wouldn't recommend wearing it to go swimming, or even for exercise or going out in the rain. This is because even if your eyes are just a tiny bit wet the mascara will smudge. I have had this happen to me in heavy rain and also after wearing this mascara to go to the gym. I would definitely not risk wearing it for going swimming as I just know I would come out with panda eyes.

Overall this is a good little mascara and for anyone who is on a budget like me, as I'm a student, I would recommend to them trying out the 17 make up range. It is all quite reasonably priced and it is not bad quality. This mascara can be used to create lovely eye lashes and I think it is great. I would probably buy this again. It isn't the most amazing in the world but for the price it is extremely good and I would give it four stars out of five.
