I have seen alot of bad reviews for this product, but to be quite honest i was not dissappointed in this product (nor was i pleased..). It's not a good foundation as such, but i use it as a powder just to put on top. Some people have said it comes out orange? i do have to agree with that as it is slightly orange on application. But as it's not the best product it quickly fades. It doesn't last the whole day so i do find that i am constantly finding that i have to top up on some days. It is quite cheap at just over £5 if i remember correctly but compared to other products of the 17 range it is slightly more dearer. But a couple of pounds isn't going to make a ... I bought this foundation as a replacement for Boots 17 Powder Finish Satin Mousse, a light foundation that goes on smoothly and feels fresh all day, but is sadly nearly empty and doesn't appear to be sold any more. I thought this foundation would be a suitable substitute... Mineral foundations are supposed to be light, aren't they? And they don't block your pores or look caked? This one is different. I have never before had the misfortune to put such horrible greasy rubbish on my face. I bought the palest shade available - Soft Ivory - and found that it was a particularly vile shade of WAG orange. The "sponge" is a nasty little rubbery thing, of a ... Read the complete review

I find buying a foundation to suit my skin tone a total nightmare! I hate running out of it and it's one of the only make up items I actually let that happen to as I dread re-buying any. Well sadly I needed it and the other day in Boots I had a lot of free money on my reward card and if I spent £5.00 I got a free little box of goodies as well and for free to me, this seemed a great opportunity to stock up on some new and fresh items to revamp my look with. The Packaging... Oblong dark grey slightly shiny flip open case. On the top left hand corner in bright silver writing is the number 17 and then in light blue and silver writing on the ... ****Boots 17 Pure Finish Mineral Foundation**** Recently when I was on holiday I unpacked my suitcase to find that I had forgotten to bring any foundation with me.Not wanting to spend very much on something when I had loads of the stuff I liked at home I picked this one because it was quite cheap to buy and there was a no17 promotion on at the time. **The brand** No17 is a brand that you can buy from boots, cheaper then collection 2000 but more expensive then no7/rimmel etc. **Packaging** This foundation comes in a off-black,sturdy/rectangle d shaped container. It has a clip you press in to open. When you open it half of it is a ... Read the complete review

I got this on a BOGOF offer, alongside another 17 foundation and found this product to be quite disappointing. It comes with a sponge applicator, but when I tried to apply it with this I found that the sponge absorbed most of the product and I only managed to get a patch of product on my skin. The results therefore were a bit blotchy and the colour seems to be darker than other products from 17 in the same shade. I found that applying it with a denser powder brush works quite effectively, however, the coverage is really light- more like a finishing powder than a foundation. The fact that it is mineral based is encouraging, so at ... Read the complete review
