~ ~ THE FOUNDATION ~ ~
The foundation is a shine free foundation which comes in 5 different shades including Soft Ivory, Honey, Biscuit, Natural and Fair. It comes in a clear plastic bottle with a black lid. It states on the front of the bottle that the foundation creates a beautiful, even skin tone by mattifying shiny areas whilst moisturising the dry areas. The top of the bottle has a black pump lid so you can dispense the liquid foundation easily. You can see the colour of the foundation inside the bottle; how-ever don't go by the colour in the bottle for your skin. Make sure you try a tester to ensure it's the right shade/colour for your skin.

~ ~ PRICE/AVALIABILITY ~ ~
This product is made by boots and is part of the 17 range. For a bottle of the foundation it cost's £5.69, how-ever this is currently on offer for £3.69, so it's well worth trying this whilst it's cheap.

~ ~ APPLYING THE FOUNDATION ~ ~
I pumped a small amount of this onto the back of my hand, ready to use. I always apply foundation using a brush as I find it gives you a better coverage. I was quite surprised at how runny the foundation was; compared to the last 17 foundation I used to buy which got dis-continued. The colour did look a little orange, how-ever I find that sometimes foundation can look like this, but doesn't look orange when applied to the face. Using my foundation brush I started to apply onto my face. I did use a primer before applying this product which also helps to give a better, even coverage. The foundation glided on easily and was soft when applying. I only used a small amount and thought I could build it up it I needed to. I completed applying the foundation to one side of my face and looked at it compared to the other side. My skin looked flawless and smoother than the other side, which means the foundation was doing a good job of making my skin look slightly better. I finished applying the foundation and then look at the results.

~ ~ THE RESULTS ~ ~
The foundation had a slight colour to it, but it didn't make me look orange or fake which is good as I have quite pale skin. The foundation glides on easily and leaves a matt, natural looking finish. I do have some dry skin near my eyes, and this didn't do a very good job at covering the dry skin, even though it states that this product moisturises the dry areas. In fact the foundation made the dry area's more noticeable than it had done before applying the product. I was a little disappointed at this; how-ever it wasn't much dry skin so it didn't bother me too much. I did apply some loose powder over the top of the foundation to give it a flawless finish. The foundation stayed looking great for the majority of the night, and there was no need to re-apply anything, apart from the powder. I used facial wipes to take the foundation off and this is easily done with minimum effort. I sometimes have sensitive skin and this was king to my skin, it didn't dry my skin out or clog up any of my pores which was good.

~ ~ OVERALL OPINION ~ ~
I chose this foundation as it's a lot cheaper than the current foundation I am using. There is a choice of 5 different shades which means you can find one suitable for you. I am pleased that the foundation made my skin look natural and flawless, how-ever I don't think it moisturises the dry areas very well. The foundation claims to moisturise dry areas, how-ever I don't think this was really the case. The product didn't dry my skin out or cause any blemishes, how-ever it didn't moisturise the dry skin either. The foundation is long lasting which is good for when you are going out on the town and you want your make up to stay looking perfect all night. The only down side to this product is that it lacks a little colour. I like my foundation to give me a slight glow or some colour to my face without looking fake or orange, how-ever this product didn't seem to do this. This is a great foundation if you like a very, very natural look and it's very long lasting and easily removed.
