Loads of lovely colours and a nice silky texture (Boots 17 Solo Eyeshadow)

Advantages: Ease to put on and take off

Disadvantages: So cheap you'll end up buyings loads!

I own many different colours in the Boots 17 Solo Eyeshadow range. As I am quite fair-skinned and fairly bad at doing quite complicated make-up things I tendy to stick to light shimmery colours. My favourite from this range is Femme Fatale which is a shimmery white powder and creates a very subtle bright-eyed look. The powder itself is very easy to apply, I just apply it across my lids with my finger and blend out towards my eyebrows. It stays in place for a long time and the light colours can be easily mixed to create new, individual shades. I can't speak for the darker colours in this range as I have not tried them but there are a variety of fun shades to choose from. I certainly can't complain about the value for money as these eyeshadows are very inexpensive and last for quite a long time. The little screw top pots they are in are pefect for slipping into a handbag or make up bag.

Summary: Great value for money and very pretty
