***ABOUT THE 17 RANGE***
The 17 range is a special range made by Boots so you will not fidn this range in Superdrug or anywhere else. The range consists of cosmetics for eyes, face, lips, nails, tanning cosmetics and they also do tools and accessories.

* Eyes - They have a huge range of glitetr eye-shadows, mascaras and eye-liners in a great range of colours.
* Face - This includes liquid foundations for all skin types, pressed powders, bronzing pearls, concealers and blushers.
* Lips - They do a very large range of different lipsticks in a huge range of colours and lip gloss and lip liners as well.
* Nails - Their range of nail polishes won't dissapoint you with neon, glitter, bright and natural shades they do a colour so suit every occasion.
* Tan - This includes Bronzing Powders, Bronzing Dust, Bronzing Pearls, Matt Bronzers and more.
* Tools & Accessories - They do a great range of make up brushes, mirrors, manicure sets, false eyelashes and tweezers to help with your beauty regime.

At the moment boots have a 3 for 2 offer on the 17 range which is for a limited period only. Buy any 3 items and the cheapest is free!

***THE FOUNDATION***
This particular foundation is a long lasting foundation and is avaliable in 6 different shades which includes Soft Ivory, Caramel, Honey, Fair, Natural and Biscuit. I am reviwing the Natural Shade as I find this matches my skin tone better than the others do.

This foundation costs £5.37 (prices may be different in store and this price was taken from boots website), which comes in a 30ml dark blue pump bottle. (Although I think they are changing the packaging as the bottle looks slightly different to the bottle I have in my make-up bag!

***APPLICATION***
I apply this foundation in 2 different ways. Most days I will use a cosmetic sponge wedge which I also buy from boots and I will simply damp the sponge and apply my foundation using the sponge. The foundation pumps out nicely and isn't too runny but isn't thick either, it has a nice consistency to it and applies to the face very well. (I do moisturise before applying this, which gives me an smoother coverage, as I sometimes suffer from dry skin).

The other way i apply this foundation when Im going out for a night on the town is with a foundation brush. I simply pump a bit of the foundation onto my hand to warm the foundation up and then use the foundation up to apply it to my face, that way I can build it up if I need to. I find that when using the foundaiton this way it gives me a better coverage and lasts a lot longer rather than using sponge wedges.

(I never got on with rubbing foundation in/applying it with my hands!)

***RESULTS***
This foundation doesn't last all day but does cover spots and blemishes quite well. I find that half-way through the day this foundaiton has worn off quite a bit, so you made need to re-apply this later in the day. This foundation didn't dry out my skin and wasn't irritant to my skin either. I was pleased with the overall coverage and the results of this foundation and have been using this foundation for at least 5 years, if not longer!

With this foundation I very rarely use bronzing pearls as I think this gives me a nice colour and think I would look to orange if I used bronzing pearls as well.

This can be easily removed with make up remover wipes.

I would recommend this foundation as I think its great value for the price compared to some other foundations out there which are way more expensive than this. With 6 different shades to choose from, there is one to match every skin tone.

Before I finish this review just one tip for those who don't know. When looking for a new shade of foundation don't try the colour on your hand as this is totally different to the skin on your face. Try a colour test just behind your ear to get a better match for your skin. (That includes you as well men, lol)
