*Introduction* When my company has audits, my job entails me going into manufacturing areas and there are numerous rules and procedures that go along with this. One of them is no jewellery and another happens to be no nail polish. I was gutted about this seeing as I have spent a great deal of time and effort on growing my nails and keeping them nice therefore I decided to buy a product that would allow me to do so without applying polish as I think that my nails look awful when they are bare. So I went in search of a product with my friend whilst shopping one weekend with my friend. And it was whilst in Boots that a sales assistant had obviously been listening ... Read the complete review

I have been using a quite expensive four way nail buffer for the last six months or so. Now that that seems to have been filed out of submission and is now longer available, I picked this Boots one up as a cheaper alternative. The Product As there is no product image for this, I will briefly describe it for you. It is a rectangular block, and the sides each have a different function. The black side is a regular nail file that you can use to file your nails into shape and get rid of any jagged edges before you start the buffing process. The blue side is a buffer that is designed to get rid of ridges in your nails. The white side is designed to smooth your ... Read the complete review

The Boots Four Way Nail Buffer is a brilliant little contraption. Side 1 is used to file the nail edge down, Side 2 is used to remove any ridges on your nails, Side 3 is for smoothing the nail and Side 4 puts a brilliant shine on your nail. If you've never used a nail buffer before then you don't know what you're missing. Not only do they leave your nails looking lovely and shiney, but buffing your nails is good for them. The Boots Four Way Buffer seems to be a bit more longer lasting then the usual type of buffer I've used before, i.e. the nail file shaped ones. The Boots one is in a block shape, so isn't prone to bending ... Read the complete review

I'm not so sure about this one, and in the interests of giving people a different opinion to consider, here I go... This nail buffer's not like the usual flat ones, it's a rectangular block, with 4 sides which you use, in turn, to "buff" your nails. Firstly, you file the nail edge with side 1, then you Remove the ridges with side 2, followed by smoothing the nail with side 3 and shining it with side 4. Sounds good, yes, but I've definitely used better. I'll explain... The nail file is fine, but somewhat squidgy, as the buffer itself is soft, and doesn't lead to good filing I find. In removing the ridges, I ... Read the complete review
