Advantages: Pretty shade, good price, easy to apply, good quality, looks nice once applied

Disadvantages: Lack of shades available

I don't usually buy bronzer, but as winter draws closer, I begin to look more pasty so I decided to purchase these. They cost just £1.99 from Boots, as do most Natural Collection cosmetic products. The product is available in two shades- Sahara Sun, which is quite a darkish bronzy brown and Tropical Tan, which is a goldy orange. I decided to choose Tropical Tan as it looked a lot lighter.

The product comes in a small clear pot with a pearly white twist-off lid, in which the Natural Collection logo is printed. I like the fact that the pot is clear as it means you can see the product properly before buying. The pot states that you get 20g of the product which I find is quite a lot. Directions for use and the ingredients list are printed on a sticker on the back.

The product is easy enough to use. I use a blusher brush to apply mine, but I think most people use a powder brush for bronzing pearls. Either works just as well. I apply it on the areas of my face where there's shadow. Mainly under and around my cheekbones to create a defined look before I apply blush.

When on my face the product is a lovely deep golden colour with a slight shimmer. It looks great with my pale skin tone (and most bronzers look awful on me!). I was surprised at how nice the colour comes out because some of the pearls do look very orange.

I really can't fault this product, apart from maybe the fact that a couple of the pearls have flaked into powder, but I can still use the powdery dregs left in the pot if needs be. Also, maybe a wider range of shades would be nicer, but the shade I have looks lovely anyway. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good quality bronzer!
