Advantages: great price, natural effect, easy to remove, fragrance free and dermatalogically tested
Disadvantages: may fade over time, pearls can crumble to powder
The budget brand of make up from Boots; Natural Collection can be a bit hit and miss, some products in the range are fantastic, with some you certainly get what you pay for (which is not much at all!). These bronzing pearls are in my opinion one of the better items from the collection.
The bronzing pearls come in a small round pot with a clear base and a white screw top lid. On the lid there is a stylised flower type logo and the words Natural Collection.
The packaging looks ok (though nothing special) and it allows you to see how much bronzer is left, which is great.
Natural collection products are only available to buy in Boots. You can buy these bronzing pearls on-line or in store.
The bronzer will set you back just £1.99 and if you have a Boots advantage card you will earn 4 points from this purchase (spend a penny more and you'll get yourself 8 points).
The bronzer is available in two shades; sahara sun or tropical tan. I chose sahara sun and I like the results of this shade on my skin.
Using the product
When I first opened the pot to use the bronzer I noticed that you have to be a little careful in order to not spill the bronzing balls everywhere as the neck of the pot is fairly wide and the balls are fairly small.
There is no brush or applicator with this product, so you will need something to apply it with. I use a fairly large, round blusher brush.
To apply the bronzer you simply swirl your brush over the bronzing balls and then sweep it across your face.
After a while of use the bronzing balls do start to crumble into powder. I find that you have to be a little careful when this happens so that you do not end up with too much powder on your brush.
Boots say; "Natural Collection SunTint Bronzing Pearls give a natural sunny glow to the skin." and the product certainly does what it promises for me. Some bronzing pearls can leave you looking like you've been tangoed, but this one gives the look of a lovely natural tan.
The product lasts well, after a day of wearing it or after a night out with it on it usually seems to have faded a little but it will still be on my skin,
I have found the product easy to remove with wipes or make up removal lotions.
I have quite sensitive skin and like other products in the Natural Collection range, this bronzer does not irritate my skin at all.
Overall
This is a great price for a good bronzing product, so I would recommend these bronzing pearls to others
Summary: Not bad for a budget beauty buy.
