Advantages: Cheap

Disadvantages: Colours too light when applied. Wears off, creases to easy

When I purchased the Natural Collection single eyeshadow I also got one of the duo eyeshadow at the same time. After using the single pots I was very disappointed as the lack of colour and depth to the shades and were so bad I had thrown them away, so assumed that the Duo collection would be the same. It wasn't till the other week when having a clear out I re-discovered the duo eyeshadow pot.

I had purchased the Mocha/Latte duo, which was as the name states, Mocha and Latte shades. There are a total of 6 shades which are:-

Shimmer/Aqua
Rosemary/Thyme
Starlight/Midnight
Plum/Blossom
Mocha/Latte
Blackcurrant/Voila

Each duo costs £1.99 and as it is the Natural Collection can only be bought at Boots stores. Boots say to used the "Duo Eyeshadows as a base colour and highlighter". I applied the lighter shade all over my lid and added the dark shade to the outer corner of my lid and crease. This is the normal look I go for when using my favourite eyeshadow (No 17 from Boots). Again as with the single pots the duo's look nice colours when they are in their pots, but when applied they are still to light. They only seem to offer a hint of colour which may be nice for daytime wear but I don't feel it's enough. The eyeshadow also rubs off and smudges during the day, and when I applied in the morning before work, when I got home in the evening the little bid of colour that was left had creased and looked horrible, with just a flaky line of colour on the crease of my eye and nowhere else.

For £1.99 they are very cheap, but I don't think they are worth paying that for! With such lovely Boot's eye shadow collections from both No 7 and 17, the Natural Collection eyeshadow range lets them down.

Summary: Not worth its £1.99 price tage
