Since becoming a student, I have had to work really hard to budget in all of my expenditures. Although not particularly fun, it is allowing me to try out a range of cheaper alternatives to see if they live up to the usual pricier things I would purchase. I wear make up on a daily basis, and this includes eye liner - both kohl pencil and liquid. I get through make up quite quickly and am constantly having to repurchase it, therefore I had to make some cutbacks on what make up I would purchase. Natural Collection is an own brand available only at Boots stores and online on their website. It is a very budget based collection and contains a small section of various products . I have tried out many items in the "Natural Collection" range of make-up and cosmetics from Boots. I find that there are often promotional deals running in the range, for example the option allowing for any three products in the range to be purchased for only £5 which I think is a great price. I took advantage of this deal recently and stocked up on some make-up essentials. One of the items that I purchased was the "Natural Collection Eye Lines" eyeliner pencil. The pencil is available in a choice of only two shades, which are brown or black, and I bought the black coloured pencil for myself as I prefer to outline my eyes in a dark ... I usually keep eyeliner for nights out because its a bit too much effort for me every day! When Im looking for a new eyeliner, my main priority is for it to be very easy to apply because otherwise it ends up all over the place as Im rather rubbish at applying the stuff. The natural collection eyeliners come in a good range of colours and I got a black and a green colour as part of a 3 for £5 offer - so its excellent value, as are all of the products within this range. The pakaging is pretty simple, the outside of the pencil reflects the colour of the liner and it has a see through lid, which is sealed on so you know it hasn't been tried in the shop! ... I had used the Natural Collection eye pencils before, and been fairly pleased, although remembered them being slightly 'dry'; not very easy to blend. I needed to replace eyeliners because I'd had a minor eye infection, and although sharpening my old pencils might have removed any possible germy bits, I decided not to take any risks, as eyes are delicate organs and it can be very unpleasant having problems with them. Natural Collection Eye Liner was an ideal purchase in this instance because it is affordable. Unfortunately, Boots don't seem to list them on their website, and I can't recall their current price. However, I bought 3 for £5, in one of the Natural ... Read the complete review

I am unable to buy just one Natural Collection product at a time as they are so cheap and also always on offer '3 for £5' mix and match style. I needed a cheap blusher as I lost my expensive No7 Minerals one while I was out one night :( and didn't want to waste a lot of money for it to happen again, my 'going out' make up kit that goes in my clutch bag is now mostly Natural Collection as I can afford to lose them! So along with my blusher I bought this eyeliner, now I already have enough eyeliners to be honest; black for most days and nights, white to brighten up my tired eyes and a grey/silver colour for a glittery change on a night out. BUT...then I spotted ... Read the complete review
