Since becoming a student, I have had to work really hard to budget in all of my expenditures. Although not particularly fun, it is allowing me to try out a range of cheaper alternatives to see if they live up to the usual pricier things I would purchase. I have tried out many items in the "Natural Collection" range of make-up and cosmetics from Boots. I find that there are often promotional deals running in the range, for example the option allowing for any three products in the range to be purchased for only £5 which I think is a great price. I usually keep eyeliner for nights out because its a bit too much effort for me every day! When Im looking for a new eyeliner, my main priority is for it to be very easy to apply because otherwise it ends up all over the place as Im rather rubbish at applying the stuff. The natural collection eyeliners come in a good range of colours and I got a black and a green colour as part of a 3 for £5 offer - so its excellent value, as are all of the products within this range. I had used the Natural Collection eye pencils before, and been fairly pleased, although remembered them being slightly 'dry'; not very easy to blend. I needed to replace eyeliners because I'd had a minor eye infection, and although sharpening my old pencils might have removed any possible germy bits, I decided not to take any risks, as eyes are delicate organs and it can be very unpleasant having problems with them. I am unable to buy just one Natural Collection product at a time as they are so cheap and also always on offer '3 for £5' mix and match style. I needed a cheap blusher as I lost my expensive No7 Minerals one while I was out one night :( and didn't want to waste a lot of money for it to happen again, my 'going out' make up kit that goes in my clutch bag is now mostly Natural Collection as I can afford to lose them!
