Now I adore eye liner, but even I find it hard to believe myself when I say there was a time when I never wore make up! I remember the first eye liner I bought, quite simply because it is the same kind I still continue to use today! But why?

The first eye liner i went out to buy was the black eye liner in the Boots Natural Collection because it was cheap and plain, simple as! And plain indeed! The pencil itself is a plain white colour, with a little black tip at the end to show it is black (othe colours have corresponding tips). At the top you can see through the clear cap to the black pencil tip.

When you revome the lid, you are ready to go. Now applying is easy with this. Simply smoothe over the lower eye, and waterline if you are looking for a darker effect. You can also do the upper line too, but this does tickle and takes a bit of getting used to! At first, I found the tip to be quite sharp, but after having used it once or twice it blunted a bit and softened. Then it became more of a charcoal and applied to my eyes much easier!

What I like best about this is the size of the pencil. It is just shorter than your standard HB writing pencil. which I think is fantastic! One pencil can take me months to finish, though I do change between eye liners from time to time!

As I said, I chose this because it was cheap! And cheap indeed it is! Everything in the Natural Collection range is under £2, and this is no exception. Each eye liner costs £1.98, which is an amazing deal! You can expect to pay up to £10 for other brands! In fact, I paid nearly £5 for an eye liner a few weeks ago, the brand I will not drop, and I found it to be useless! Cheaper is definitely better here!

You can get other colours in the range, such as brown and white. I have not ventured out to try these yet but I am keen to see what look the white one creates! As black is such a 'natural' colour, it can be worn with any look or colour. The amount of pressure applied when applying will depend on how dark or thick your results are, allowing it to suit your needs. This is definitely a wonderful eye liner and one I will stick by!
