Advantages: Cheap, works well, lovely colour
Disadvantages: none
I am unable to buy just one Natural Collection product at a time as they are so cheap and also always on offer '3 for £5' mix and match style. I needed a cheap blusher as I lost my expensive No7 Minerals one while I was out one night :( and didn't want to waste a lot of money for it to happen again, my 'going out' make up kit that goes in my clutch bag is now mostly Natural Collection as I can afford to lose them!
So along with my blusher I bought this eyeliner, now I already have enough eyeliners to be honest; black for most days and nights, white to brighten up my tired eyes and a grey/silver colour for a glittery change on a night out. BUT...then I spotted this one 'Olive Green' and fell for it, instantly forgetting I had enough eyeliners already!
To give it its full name; Natural Collection Eye Lines in Olive Green.
The pencil is metallic green all over so when it's in my make-up bag there's no way I could confuse it with my black one.
It has a clear plastic lid so I can actually see the colour of the kohl itself, it matches the overall colour of the pencil perfectly by the way so if your eyes aren't so good just look at the pencil!
Using the Eyeliner
-------------
I apply eyeliner on my lower lid (whatever those bits are called) and flick it out slightly at the outer corner. Some eyeliners drag the skin and the colour doesn't come off easily, I only found that to be a problem one day when it was really cold and my skin was cold too, just hold the end of the pencil in your hand and it warms up quickly. Then the colour comes off easily and you are left with a bold coloured line with no irritation.
My eyes have been stupid lately, I think it's too early for hayfever but they seem to be itching all the time and this didn't aggravate this so it's suitable for sensitive eyes too.
The colour looks just like it did in the pencil, a dark green which makes my brown eyes pop! It doesn't look decidedly green from far away but close up the colour is gorgeous and rich. I don't know how good it would look on blue eyes so I think i'll just recommend to us brown eyed girls :)
It looks more subtle than black on these sunny days but still defines my eyes so I think I'll be sticking with green eyeliner in the spring and summer! I'm a convert!
I've looked around and it isn't easy to find another dark green eye liner so despite Natural Collection being the cheapest range in Boots they also have a product thats almost exclusive to themselves! Good thinkng Natural Collection!
Eye Lines are also available in Black, Grey and Brown.
They cost £1.95 each or as I said are in the 3 for £5 deal.
Summary: Love it!
