Advantages: cheap

Disadvantages: too thick, leaves skin patchy...

I've tried a lot of different foundations over the years yet this is the first product which I've stopped using before I'd actually ran out of it. I'll admit that in this case it was the price that swayed me. Usually in these instances the item isn't always that bad but in this case I was actually really disappointed with the outcome.

I have pale skin so I opted for the porcelain option, although they do come in 4 other shades-sand, biscuit, honey and almond. When using it I tend to put some on the back of my hand before applying just to make sure I don't use too much.

Unlike other foundations this came out of the tube really thick. It was difficult to use as it wouldn't spread very evenly due to its sticky texture. Leaving my skin darker in some places whilst patchy in others. Despite the fact that this is supposed to be a porcelain shade, the lightest choice it made my skin tone a lot darker than what it should of been. Even my younger brother said I looked browner! And he never notices things like that. It wasn't as if I had smothered my face in it either.

You get 40ml of foundation per tube which will cost you £1.95 from Boots. Although the price is pretty cheap and possibly the lowest cost that I've come across for foundation I do believe it to be a waste of money. It makes a lot of mess as well when you use it and I think you'd be better off buying a product which might cost you a bit extra.

It is fragrance free and is suitable for people with normal/combination skin types so I suppose that could be good for some. Personally I don't think those who know they have dry skin shouldn't use it. I don't but it made some of my face look as though it was flaking off.

I wouldn't recommend this despite the price. It's too thick, doesn't spread evenly, unsuitable for people with pale skin despite it saying it's porcelain and can leave you looking caked in make up even using the barest minimum of it.

A complete waste of money.
