“ Brand: Boots / Type: Mascara / Suitable for: Eye „
I love mascara's! Problem is, I have super sensitive eye's :( Every time I buy a brand new mascara of a well known brand..it doesn't end up good for me. I end up with streaming watery eyes which in turn ruins my make up (which I spend too much time on). I stumbled across this mascara while ordering some make up online from boots, it says it is Fragrance free & Dermatologically tested also there's plenty of of good reviews on boots.com website so I had to try it out..I'm glad i did! Looking at the product packaging it does look very simple, not too in your face. I chose the black shade as usual, I was wishing as i was about to apply it to my eyelashes as i'm used to mascara's flaring up my eyes, but when I put this on all seemed fine with my eyes..I had no stinging or watery eyes which is very good for my eyes. I liked the brush on this mascara it wasn't too big or too small it was just about right, I also like the thickness of it so it wasn't too runny like some can be. When applying it I did notice my lashes were a bit longer than i'm use to but if I apply to much it can go clumpy, like most mascara's tend to do. Overall i'm happy with this mascara and use it every day Also, for 1.99 at boots you can't really go wrong with it, there's sometimes a special offer on "3 for £5 on Natural collections cosemetics" which is a fairly good deal.
I have tried so many mascaras over the years and was attracted to this particular mascara mainly due to the price, at £1.99; I thought that even if it turned out to be rubbish it was not a lot to loose. The mascara is from the Boots Natural collection and is Dermatologically tested and fragrance free. It is designed to help curl your eyelashes and I have been using the black colour. The mascara comes is a very simply designed tube that is plastic and off white in colour with the products information on the back and the logo on the front. To access the application brush you have to twist off the lid and there you will find a large applicator wand that has many bristles, which taper towards the end, which is how the mascara should be able to give you curly lashes if applied correctly. The wand is easy to use and holds enough product to allow you to apply two coats without making a complete mess. The mascara itself is a good dark black colour, however it is quite thin in consistency and I do find that once applied I have to check for marks on my eyes until it is completely dried, if I blink I tend to get little mascara dots under my eyes or on my eye lids. The mascara does not tend become clumpy and I have been using this now for around 3 months, it is getting to the end and the quality of the product remains the same. Overall I find that the mascara does give me extra curl, but as my eye lashes are quite long the effect does not last all day and if you try to re-apply, your eyelashes are already dried in place and the result is usually not worth the hassle, its best to remove and start again. Overall I would recommend this product to others as it is well priced, works fairly well, has a good depth of colour and is easy to use.
Last night I needed to slick on some mascara quickly but of course I couldn't lay my hands on my regular mascara and had to pick up one of the many mascara's I have nestling in the bottom of my make up box and the first one I pulled out was this Naturals mascara by Boots. I actually forgot I had this and couldn't quite remember how well it worked but as I was in a rush it had to do. I actually received this as a gift in a secret santa along with a few other of the Naturals products which cost £1.99 each but are nearly always on offer at 3 for £5 so you can pick up quite a few little products for not much money. As this is a Boots product it is only available in Boots stores or online. The tube is very basic in white with the name displayed on the front of it. The top of the lid has a black sticker telling us that the colour of the mascara is black. I believe that black is the only colour available so there isn't any variety of colour available but I use black anyway so it's not a problem. or the price you really can't complain about the simpleness of the design. The top is screwed away easily but is secure enough when it's closed, I haven't found any problems with the cap becoming stuck or anything like that. The first thing you notice is the wand that is very slim, much much thinner than any other mascara I have ever used, it is also straight which for a mascara claiming to have a 'curl lash effect' the would have some sort of shape to the wand. It comes out coated in the mascara but not overfilled with colour at all, I do have to say this is one of the best mascara's I have used for this, the only thing I do do is take a little off the flat bottom at the end of the wand. The bristles are well spaced allowing my lashes to be coated with colour well, even the small lashes at the corners of my eyes are coated with the wand which I was pleased didn't require a huge amount of effort. I wasn't left with my lashes clumpy or spider effect which I was extremely pleased with. The lashes dried rather quickly which allowed me to add another coat quickly afterwards which is excellent if you're busy. My eyelashes definitely had colour and definition to them but their was no curl in the slightest, I think this was over-ambitious of the description, it's a cheap mascara that does the job but don't big it up by making claims that it can't live up to. I didn't remove my mascara last night (naughty naughty I know!) but when I woke up this morning my make up was still in tact and there was absolutely no smudging underneath my eyes at all, I could have got out of bed and walked out the door if I had felt the need which I was incredibly impressed with considering this is a cheap non-waterproof mascara. When I washed my face some of it came off but I found I did need a remover wipe to get rid of the majority which removed easily enough. The mascara lasted well I wore this about 6 hours in 20 degree heat and then slept in it for a number of hours and it didn't budge which is fantastic. Overall I am very impressed with this mascara, although it doesn't lift or curl my lashes as it claims it does coat my lashes well, lasts long and doesn't smudge and when you do want to remove it it comes off easily enough. I would definitely recommend this mascara, it's not the best out there but it is excellent for the tiny price tag.
Before buying this not that long ago I had not used Natural Collection cosmetics since I was a younger teenager. I have always liked their Bath and Body products though. There was an offer on the Make up from this range, which I didn't take the offer up, but the normal price for this was alright I thought. This cost me £1.99 and the offer was 3 items for £5 so a bit of a saving to be had but I was happy just to buy this for £1.99 and just have a go at the product. This comes in the usual looking kind of plastic tube - Just a simple black plastic tube and you just twist the wand out and apply this to your lashes. I only spotted this in Black but that is fine for me as it is black that I use. Normally you at least get brown or brown/black in a Mascara. The Wand is an alright lenght and easy enough for to apply this. I don't find that some Wands are overly long, but it is easier if the Wands are that bit shorter I feel to let you get in and twist it about. The Mascara seems to be quite dry when I only just opened it and I wondered if it would flake off when I went to apply this or if I would notice the coating on my lashes, but I found this to be alright. They don't look quite as well coated as some other Mascara's that I have used but still alright. This states that it Curls your Lashes but I don't find them to be any different than what they normally are - still straight and stumpy in my case! An ok Mascara and for the price I think it was a good buy as it is the best cheaper Mascara that I have used but I would rather spend just that bit more and get a Mascara that works a bit better for me.
I bought this mascara when I was browsing for make up in Boots, they caught my eye because it was really cheap and on offer and I am really glad that I bought it. Shades Available There weren't really many colours available in this mascara, just black was available to buy in my local Boots, I usually only wear black mascara when I am dressing up to go out and would have liked there to be a brown shade available. However I still bought this just to try it out and because it was very cheap. Application This mascara is very easy to apply, it isn't too runny and it also does not clump easily, even after many uses. You simply drag it through your eyelashes, like you would any other mascara. Results I am really pleased with the results from this mascara, it leaves my lashes looking lovely and natural, but much more sculpted and tinted than usual. This mascara really opens my eyes up and makes them look really pretty. I really like how natural my eyes look when I use this mascara the results look really subtle and yet look really good. This mascara is perfect for everyday use in my opinion. I have discovered that this mascara sometimes runs a bit if my eyes get watery or if I rub my eyes throughout the day, however most cheaper brand mascaras do this so I wasn't really surprised when this happened. This mascara is fragrance free and dermatologically tested, I have very sensitive skin and have found that this mascara does not irritate my eyes or skin. Price and Availability You can buy this mascara in Boots or online at Boots.com for £1.99, I think that this is a great price for a mascara, especially one that is as nice as this. Sometimes this mascara goes on offer along with other Naturals products under 3 for 2 promotions, so it is good to keep an eye out for this. I will definitely be buying this mascara again. Overall I think that this is a fantastic mascara for everyday use, it gives me lovely subtle looking eyelashes that look lovely and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes the toned down look when they are wearing makeup. Overall I would give this mascara 4 out of 5 stars, it loses a star as it isn't really that waterproof in my opinion. *also on ciao under lorrainek90
When I bought this mascara, I wasn't worrying about the quality; I was more concerned about the price. I wanted to save a bit of money, and as I was only planning to use this mascara as something to bulk out my make-up bag and just to wear for casual use I wasn't too worried about what it was going to come out like. I bought it in the Natural Collection stand at Boots and was pleased with the price at a very low £1.99. I got it in the black colour. The tube it comes in is very simplistic, just a white tube with the brown Natural Collection Logo on it. Advantages & Effect - When I started using this mascara, I was really surprised. The colour was really deep and intense black. The consistency is quite thick, but not gloopy. The rim of the tube is slightly messy as the product is thicker. Because it is thicker it coats the brush nicely and in turn gives the lashes a good coating when you use it. The brush is also a nice shape. It's spiralled and doesn't go in and out like some brushes, which I find hard to use. It had a simple but effective brush which evenly coats all the lashes. Disadvantages - Unfortunately, I think this mascara has quite a few disadvantages, which could be liked to its very small price tag. It is not very long lasting, and flakes off quite easily. Due to the thickness of this mascara, if you use too much of it, or even two coats on the lashes, then it can get quite clumpy and sometimes, I find myself having to remove it and start again. Also, if I am wearing this mascara for a very long time, I sometimes find that it can print black smudges onto the skin under my eyes, creating dark shadows. Overall Thoughts - I think for the price of this mascara, you can't go wrong. I wouldn't want to wear this for a long time, like on a night out, because I don't think it does the job as well as some other more pricey mascaras, and I don't think it gives a very dramatic look, but for every day, more natural looks, it is perfect. And with a price tag this small, as a fill in for every day, you really can't go wrong.
Until recently, I always bought Maybelline or Bourjois mascaras and had never thought of buying anything from Natural Collection. I'm self employed and also work in an office for part of the week. Lately the hours for the latter have been cut and most of my work is at home. I'm not one for putting mascara on when I won't be leaving the house so that combined with a reduction in my income meant that I was looking around for a cheaper mascara alternative. I've had problems with eye infections on occasions when I've kept mascaras longer than recommended so now I'm more conscious of that and am make the effort to replace my mascara when I know it's past its best. As I'm not using it everyday at the moment, I'm loathe to pay the best part of a tenner for a mascara which is only going to last me a matter of months and won't be used up by then either. This mascara is one that my mother has been using for quite a while and she suggested that I give it a try. The mascara wand is pretty standard - it's not tapered or anything fancy like that. There isn't a huge amount of mascara on the wand when you pull it out of the tube. I always hate mascaras where half the tube seems to be on the wand and I have to spend ages getting it down to a manageable amount. With this mascara, the balance is much better. It clumps from time to time but it's no worse than its more expensive counterparts in that department. Considering the price difference, I've actually had worse experiences with the more expensive brands when it comes to clumping. It makes my lashes stand out more but isn't overly dramatic. You can tell that I'm wearing mascara definitely but if you're after a hugely eye-catching look, this isn't the mascara for you. Considering that it's called Lash Curl, I can't say that I notice anything particularly different in that department. My lashes tend to look much the same as normal but more enhanced. They don't look very curled at all so if you're after something that gives you dramatic looking lashes, this probably isn't for you either. It's a good mascara if you're looking for something which gives a more subtle look but if you want your lashes to stand out, I wouldn't recommend this one for you. This isn't a problem for me as I only really want my mascara to darken my lashes and make them stand out a little bit. Dramatic eye make-up isn't my thing. It costs £1.99, which is fantastic value for an everyday mascara.
I'll be the first person to admit that I have a slightly love/hate relationship with mascaras. I always feel a little underwhelmed by them, because the advertising usually makes such grand claims, and they never really live up to the hype, however I keep on buying them! I'm terrible with keeping mascaras for way too long - I think they usually recommend throwing them out after 3 months, well I seem to keep them for a lot longer than that. So in the past, I have bought some fairly expensive mascaras because they seemed to last for a long time, but I'm going to try and be a little more hygienic with them from now on. I'm also going to be experimenting with some of the cheaper mascaras on the market, to save a little bit of money, which is where this one comes in! As with the rest of the Natural Collection products, this mascara costs just £1.99, which I think is extremely reasonable. In fairness, the packaging is a little dull, its plain white, with a little logo on the front, but I can overlook this one small thing! The container doesn't feel like the sturdiest thing in the world, but I didn't really expect it to, so I wasn't left feeling disappointed. The Boots website currently only has the black shade available, but the one I purchased is called brown/black or something to that effect. I couldn't notice any shades of brown in it to be honest, it looks completely jet black on my already dark lashes! The wand is fairly long, and seems to hold a lot of product, but it applied nice and evenly to my eye lashes, and didn't end up making me look like a panda, so that's a big plus for me! Does it live up to it's claims though? Well, no not really. The Boots website claims that this product lengthens and curls your eyelashes without the use of an eyelash curler, but it just didn't have any effect on how curly they looked. I would definitely agree that it makes lashes appear longer and fuller, but I don't see how it noticeably curled my eyelashes. The only way I could make them curly was to use an eyelash curler before and after application of this mascara, which is the only real way to get the kind of fluttery look. I will say that this mascara didn't make my lashes clump together and appear spidery, so I was really pleased about that, as I absolutely hate trying to scrape off flecks of mascara. The staying power is also good, and I have been out and about in the rain today, and the mascara hasn't run or smudged, so another big plus. Would I recommend this product? In fairness, I don't see how this product is really any worse than half of the Maybelline or Loreal products that I've tried (and they usually cost over double the price of this) so yes, as a cheaper alternative I would. Obviously it didn't curl my lashes on it's own, but I have never been able to achieve that look without the use of any eyelash curler, and I would have used one in conjunction with this product anyway. Boots usually has some sort of offer on the go, so I would probably but this again along with a few other products from the range. I wasn't expecting miracles from this mascara, and I'm fairly pleased with it overall! I can imagine trying out a few of the other mascaras from the Natural Collection range, so if you are looking for a cheapie mascara, and are willing to spend a bit of time with the eyelash curlers, then you could do worse than picking this one up.
The other week I was in Boots and decided to treat myself to a few little bits of make up. I spent a fortune on what I wanted from Revlon and Max Factor and decided to 'top up' with a few bits and pieces that I just fancied and so I spent a tenner and got 6 items from this range as at the time this range was on offer with any 3 items of their make up collection for a fiver or most items cost £1.99 each (this does) and if your lucky it can be on offer with any two items and get one free. Its a good deal and usually I'm quite happy with the quality of these products. I wanted to try some different type of mascara and I wanted black and this was the only colour that this was available to purchase in. The packaging of this 7ml masara is simple. It comes in a white plastic tube, the top part twists on/off and holds a long plastic wand with a brush to the base of it and on the side of the tube we are told that it is Natural Collection and on the other side contact details for Boots are given and the size and colour are stated on the base of the tube. Its ok looking, very basic though but easy to open, close and use and so on. Using It: Well using this is as easy as any other mascara really! The brush is nothing special just bristles with spacing and not to thick but long enough and tapered to the end of it which helps me to coat my very small inner lashes. The colour is a dark black and very moist though not drippy or anything like that and it glides on to my eyelashes very easily though after a couple of weeks only of using this I did find the consistency to become a bit drier and more difficult to apply though clumpy it wasn't and any small clumps that did appear were pulled off my brush before they met my eyelashes thankfully. However although it is easy to apply and defining enough I never felt that it curled my eylashes at all. They didn't appear longer just black and there was no lift or curl to them whatsoever. This also isn't waterproof though it is smudgeproof to be fair to it and I didn't find that it agitated my sensitve eyes at all and when it came to remove it, it was simple enough with my usual cleansing routine. I can't say this was the best mascara I have ever used but it is good value for money. If you want defintion and dark lashes then this is simply ok if your looking for a lift and curl to your lashes simply forget it. You can get a bit of that if you use eyelash curlers first but not from this mascara alone in my experience! Only available from Boots or from Boots.com This review is also posted on Ciao under this same username.
I paid just £1.99 for this mascara from Boots, which I thought was a great price. The packaging is simple but elegant and the mascara brush is also simple and easy to use. The brush manages to coat each and every eyelash, although you may have to zig zag it a little bit to coat the corner lashes. Once on the mascara looks great. It has a lovely finish to it, you'd think it was more than the £1.99 price tag. The black shade gives great definition and the brown/ black shade looks really natural. The mascara doesn't irritate the eyes in any way. It's suitable to use on a daily basis and it's also waterproof. You can wear the mascara in any weather and it won't budge. If you wish to remove it then the mascara washes off easily at the end of the day. You can wipe it off with a simple baby wipe or with a make-up removing lotion and cotton wool. The mascara is cheap, easy to use and fragrance free. It's suitable for almost everyone to use and it's available to buy both instore and online. The mascara lasts around three months before it runs out and/ or starts to crumble. It doesn't flake when it's on your eyes though, although it can sometimes start to flake in the tube if you have had it for a while. A decent bargain mascara.
Now I have tried lots of mascaras since I started wearing makeup. I used to always use the same mascara at first, but as I got older and more interested in beauty products and makeup, I began to experiment with different brands. I think that half of the mascaras that claim to give you 'false lash effect' or 'sky high lashes' hardly ever do the job fully. They may be okay mascaras but they just don't do what their name implies. My sister little sister who is 9 years old got me some goodies for Christmas from Boots Natural Collection range, as they are reasonably priced and obviously within a 9 year olds present-buying budget. Along with a nail varnish, and face powder, she got me the black Lash Curl Mascara. I was quite dubious to try this at first, as I always spent a bit more money on makeup with the idea that you get what you pay for. Anyway, my regular mascara got a bit dry and clumpy one day and I decided to try the Natural Collection one before rushing out to get a new one. I didn't have high expectations for this product, and was only going to use it for one day as a stand in. When I started using it though, I was pleasantly suprised. The brush was a normal, straight mascara brush with no frills. The mascara separarated my lashes evenly and didnt clump, which I had expected from a cheap mascara. After wearing it for a whole day without any smudges, I roadtested it on a night out. Again, it didn't disappoint and stayed on all night. Since then, I have used it all the time and carried on buying it when its run out. It is priced at £1.99, which is amazing compared to the other mascaras out there. Its also got simple packaging which doesn't really stand out against the bright packaging of other mascaras but is a refreshing change and makes you feel like you aren't paying for the packaging like other mascaras may do. It doesn't curl your lashes as the name says, which is the only negative thing I have found about this, but I like the effect it gives.
Now with make-up I think that the price is simply irrespective and it's all about what the product can actually offer. I have tried all sorts of brands from the most expensive through to the quite frankly cheap and sometimes nasty. I have used some of the other make-up products from Boots' own brand Natural Collection so when my usual mascara came to it's end, I was quite happy to try a mascara from this range. I decided to go for the Lash Curl mascara in a black colour, as I quite liked the idea of saving myself some time in the mornings and not needing to curl my eyelashes. Priced at £1.99, this mascara was very low priced and was even part of a special offer where you could buy 3 items from the Natural Collection make-up range for just £5. You also earn Boots advantage points too! In the past I have paid anything from £5 through to £12 for a mascara alone, so this really was a bargain. But as we all know a bargain is only a bargain if it really is any good. Now to find out... Admittedly the appearance of the mascara isn't overly appealing, with the plastic tube being very basic and white in colour. The product name and brand are printed in a simple black font across the tube. I was keen to not let this put me off, as I was really only interested in the mascara itself, not whether it would look pretty sitting in my make-up bag. The colour of the mascara was black as described which on first opening was a bonus. The brush itself in my opinion is nothing overly special and I did wonder how it would actually succeed in achieving these wonderfully curled eyelashes it claimed. It was approximately 1.5cm in length and about 5-6mm in width. The individual sections of the brush were relatively well spaced, not too close for the mascara to clump on the brush, and not too far apart so that the mascara did not coat your eyelashes properly. The mascara was very simple to apply, just as all others. You simply pull the brush from the tube and hey presto! The brush is covered in the liquid and you simply touch the brush to your eyelashes to apply. The mascara I found was of a good consistency and stayed well on my lashes, however after a little while of using, the tube soon became quite dry making it difficult to get any liquid onto the brush. For the money I wasn't overly surprised, sometimes it does pay to spend a little more. The curl effect? To be honest I found that my eyelashes looked no different using this mascara to having used a standard mascara. They didn't have any more of a curve or curl to them and I still had to use my eyelash curlers to achieve the desired effect. For value for money I would recommend, however if you are looking for a lash curl mascara it would be worth investing in a more expensive product that actually does what it says on the tube.
The natural collection from Boots is really cheap, everything is priced under £3! You can also get 3 items for £5 from the natural collection range too, I think this must be an ongoing offer as everytime I have seen the range it always has a sticker on it saying this, so it really is the lowest priced range in Boots. This mascara cost only £1.99! That's about a fifth of the price that I normally pay for a mascara. So as far as the price goes, I have absolutley no complaints with this mascara. On other matters is a different story though. . . The bottle design is a boring white colour. OK so this is the natural collection, and everything is meant to look natural, and white is a natural colour. But still, does it really have to be this simple. I think it looks really dull, a white bottle with brown writing. It looks like the people designing it just couldn't be bothered. This isn't something I'd be particularly drawn to in a shop or be proud to pull out of my make up bag. So as far as presentation and first impressions go, this gets a big thumbs down. This is called 'lash curl mascara'. Well, I don't know about everyone else but this name gives me the impression that the mascara is going to curl my lashes. Well this is the wrong impression as this certainly does not curl my lashes. It is very gunky and cheapy and rather than curling my lashes it just makes them sticky and horrible. The price really shows off in the quality. For the first few uses this is OK, not the best in the world but not the worse, but I'm talking about after a week or so, when you've used this a few times it seems to get all sticky and seems to go out of date really quickly. Overall this seems to me like it is something young girls buy when they are first getting used to wearing make up, don't know much about it and anything will do, especially things that are cheap. As when I first started wearing make up I used to use this range and as I hadn't tried any other make up ranges I thought this was good. But the more other make up ranges I used the more I came to realise how rubbish and cheapy this one is. For some people it might work alright but for me I don't like it. Its a good cheap price - but to be honest if you go to a market stall you can find mascaras this price that are much better. So I do not recommend this at all.
I am quite fortunate to have long, thick lashes so I only really need a bit of mascara to make me seem more awake and to curl them a little bit, which is when I came across this mascara. It is from the Natural collection range, only avaliable in Boots and is at a price of £1.99. This means that you can collect 4 advantage points on purchase, I personally bought it because it was cheap and as it was on a 3 for 2 offer and I needed something else. When you first go to apply it the first thing I noticed was that the brush was quite short and the bristles were fairly spaced out. I bought this in Black and it was a very thick, dark, black colour, just how you'd expect it to be. To apply it isn't as smooth as others I used and as the brush is quite clumsy (short and wide) it does means that it is hard to reach those corner eyelashes. They mascara is quite thick, which does mean it tends to 'stick' or 'clump' all my eyelashes together and it does add a little length to them. It certainly does not curl them though, if possible just draws them further down to make them seem heavier, it leaves black marks and smudges all around the eye sockets and really isn't a great mascara. Overall I wouldn't reccomend this mascara, though don't be put off the range by this as the rest of the range is generally good!
I am not really the biggest girlie girl out there but one thing that I always like to have in my handbag is mascara and I noticed recently that my mascaras are looking a little tired and worn. Also, I know that bacteria can breed on the wands over time so I decided to ditch the ones I have and treat myself to a new one. I was browsing around Boots and I saw that they have 3 for £5 on lots of Natural collection products so I decided to purchase a mascara, eye shadow and eye liner and the mascara that I purchased was 'LashCurl'. The name sounded good and was the only reason I purchased it as I did not want to use one of the instore testers as who knows whose been using those! The mascara is 8ml in size and costs £1.99 on it's own but there are frequent special offers on Natural Collection products so if you want to try it then why not wait to give it a go. The tube the mascara comes in is a silvery white kind of colour and doesn't look particularly posh or fancy. The tube is a normal mascara tube shape, nothing fancy. The wand is nice and long and when I first opened it I noticed that the mascara was very fluid and it made me realise just how dried up some of my older mascaras had become. The wand is thinner towards the tip and it has around 16 large circular sets of bristles going all around so there are lots of bristles to make sure the mascara is easily applied to the lashes. The wand was the perfect size and length to give my eyelashes a nice even coat in just two brush lengths. My eyelashes were instantly bigger and more evenly spread and I received a nice even coating of mascara all over. There was one small clump on the end of one set of eyelashes but this is because I didn't wipe the wand on the tube to remove some of the excess mascara and I found that just one brush of the wand removed this and did not make the situation worse. The quality of the mascara was very good and I found that a small amount was needed to give even coverage. My lashes were well spread out by the bristles of the wand and there was no large clumps left behind providing I wiped the wand before use. The mascara is long lasting and if I applied it in the morning when I removed it in the evening (with make up wipes) there was clearly still plenty left on my lashes by that time. The mascara removed well with the use of a make up wipe and one was plenty to remove this as well as any other make up I wore. I cannot comment on whether this is waterproof or not although this is not stated on the packaging as the only thing it says is 'fragrance free'. I do not cry much and there was no rain on any of the occasions that I have used this mascara. I was very pleased with how reasonably priced this mascara is for under £2 and I have been very impressed with how long lasting it is. My eyelashes look far better when wearing this mascara and there are no tell tale signs that I've got mascara on like little black bits flaking away. I would definitely recommend this mascara to anyone who is in the market for a cheaper mascara or just wants to try something different. You don't get any false claims of 'false effect' eyelashes or anything else with this mascara as it is what it is. It definitely did curl my lashes so it does live up to it's name in that respect. I will be purchasing this again once this one has been used up or left to dry up on my desk. I have sensitive skin and I did not suffer any problems with this product and it is billed as being 'dermatologically tested' as well which is always good to know. I have found that this can be a little bit hard to remove with the make-up wipes that I usually use so this would indicate that perhaps this is waterproof. It ends up smudging when I try to remove it and it takes quite a while and a bit of scrubbing to get off so maybe I need to invest in some make-up wipes that remove waterproof make-up with ease.
