Like many people, I've recently started shopping around for cheaper brands of most things, including cosmetics. I'd never really paid much attention to Boots' Natural Collection before, as the overwhelming impression I had of the display was that it was all pastel colours, and I prefer bolder shades. However, I recently took a better look at the range when I realised how inexpensive it was - these solo eyeshadows, for example, are £1.79 each. I tend to go for smoky grey eyeshadow colours, and I was pleased to see that there was one in this range, 'Midnight'. It looks almost black in the container. I also tend to use a pale coloured eyeshadow as a base before ... Read the complete review

Of late like a lot of people I guess I have been trying to make cut backs here and there. Bills are going up, I'm getting no more money to pay for stuff than usual and things seem to be getting higher priced in general. This doesn't mean though I don't like the odd new thing and although I own oodles of make up I do like to purchase new little bits and pieces just to refresh my makeup bag and my look a bit rather too often lol! Boots Natural Collection is a range of affordable make up with most of the items being £1.99 each (though these are priced at £1.79 each) however more often than not you get any 3 items for a fiver. These items includes ... Read the complete review

Natural Collection is a brand which, as you may guess from the name, uses natural products in their cosmetics. The range sells most essential make-up items, such as lipsticks, foundations, concealer, eye shadow and mascaras. The company is only sold in boots, and most of the products retail at under £2. Most of the time, the brand can be found on 3 for £5. The eye shadows are sold for £1.69 (4 advantage card points), which, in comparison to other brands, is very cheap. The eye shadow is sold in multiple different shades: sea shell, soft pink, milk chocolate, crushed walnut and sky. These are the ones listed on the Boots website, but I am sure there is more, ... The Natural Collection range at Boots are great for people wanting to try a new shade of makeup for a low price! The eye shadows come in single or duo pots! If you see a shade you like you can buy a pot of that single colour, or buy two in a duo for a little extra (something like 20p!) I usually go for the duo eyeshadows as I like the idea of having two colours in one pot to fit into my makeup bag! However I went for the single colour this time as I couldn't find any duo colours I didn't have or liked! Price; .... The price for natural collection eyeshadows I think is great! To be able to buy a decent eye shadow for under £2 is always ... Read the complete review

When it comes to makeup I'm not especially loyal to any particular brand although I do of course have my favourites! I tend to buy most of my make up from Boots and I am generally drawn in by the displays and marketing ploys that they have! There are certain makeup items that I have multiples of whether its mascara, lip glosses and eyeshadows. The latter, are something I buy on a regular basis as I tend to get quite bored when using just one shade after a few days and like to have a good variety of shades to hand. Most eyeshadows I tend to have are all from a particular brand or two but on a trip to Boots I was drawn to their Natural Collection ... Read the complete review
