A couple of weeks ago, I decided it was time to get rid of my old faithful neutral eyeshadow and buy a new one. As I am still in school, I have a very tight budget so I decided to take a look at the Natural Collection eyeshadows, because they are so reasonably priced. I bought two colours, Butterscotch and Lilac Shimmer, which are both very subtle and are suitable for everyday wear. Even though I have never had a bad experience with Natural Collection products, I wasn't expecting them to be excellent quality. But to my pleasant surprise, I was wrong.

Lilac Shimmer is my favourite colour out of the two that I bought. It is very pale and pretty and looks lovely on fair skin. It is also suitable for young girls as it doesn't look too heavy. The Butterscotch colour is also very pale and is an ideal neutral colour for everyday wear.

The eyeshadows have incredible staying power, even though the packaging doesn't claim that the product is long-lasting. Before using the eyeshadows, I applied Natural Collection's cream concealer to my eyelids, which acts as a base, giving the eyeshadow even more staying power. The eyeshadows do not crease and look exactly the same in the evening as when I applied them in the morning. I also noticed that when applying the eyeshadows, they appear to be very sheer, however they are very buildable. This means that you can easily build the colour to acheive the look that you want.

The eyeshadows are packaged in small white pots ( about the size of a £2 coin) with clear lids that have the words Natural Collection written across the middle in small brown font. The name of the colour is written on the label that is on the bottom of the pot. I like the packaging because it is simple and small, which means it easily fits into your handbag.

Overall, I have been really impressed by these eyeshadows and I will definately be buying them again. I also plan to stock up on some other colours from the range next time I am in Boots!
