Advantages: Can't tell that you're wearing it.

Disadvantages: Boots don't offer a bulk order discount for buying lots of them

I've always suffered with the tired look right from partying a bit too hard as a teenager but the last couple of years has taken it's toll with the arrival of my first born. The lack of sleep definatley caught up with me and was making its unwelcome presence known on my eyes (again!)

I'd tried various cheap concealers but I found that it just gave me beige bags under my eyes instead of the grey ones and i'd finally had enough. After extensive reasearch on my parenting forum the one product that stood out was No7 Instant Radiance Concealer.

Off I went to Boots to ask them for this concealer (as I didn't have a clue what it looked like) and they presented me with this little stick for £12.25 (at the time, now £12.75) for 2.5ml.

It's a slim black applicator pen that you have to click a button at the end to get the concealer onto the brush. The first time needs lots of clicks but i've found that a couple of clicks dispenses enought for each eye is enough now.

I really can't recommend Instant Radiance enough. Work colleagues noticed the difference immediatatly! You don't need to apply too much but it really does work! I've noticed that it does where off over the day so I often apply a little touch up at lunch time to get me through the rest of the day. In the heat of the summer it also tends to evapourate off a bit too so you'd probably find that you'll have to re-apply then also.

It comes in two shades a pinky shade and a beige one. It isn't a thick cream at all so you can't even feel that you've put something on. The brush is really soft to the touch and the actual pen itself is compact and can easily fit in a tiny bag. Infact I have three pens, one infront of my mirror, one in my bag and a spare for the emergency situation incase one runs out!

If you summer with the tired look and don't want to spend silly amounts of money then this is definatley for you.

Well worth £12.75 and i'll never be without my three pens ever again!

Summary: Every mother should have one!
