Boots No & Instant Radiance concealer is a liquid light reflecting concealer. This is a great product for concealing dark circles and can also be used quite successfully on other areas of the face to hide blemishes. It could easily be described as sleep in a tube. I originally used YSL Touche Eclat, but at nearly twice the price of the Boots version, it is certainly not twice as effective. In fact, I think the No 7 product is easily as good, if not better than the original cover up. Instant Radiance is £12.50 for a 2.5ml tube, but if you wait for Boots to have a three for two offer, it is well worth buying. There are two colours, I is a slightlty pink skin tone and II is a yellowish skin tone. The product is dispensed by pushing a button at one end of the tube to release a small amount at the brush application end. Quite enough is released with each click, so do not be tempted to 'pump' the button - be patient!

To use the Instant Radiance effectively, apply it sparingly and gently smooth it over the area needing coverage. It has a smooth, flowing consistency and feels nice on the skin. I find it is possible to build up a couple of layers, but any more than this can cake and become noticeable. I was very impressed when I used the product recently on a black eye - it did not completely cover the bruise ( it was a real shiner!) but it really helped to dull down the intensity of the colour. Dark shadows are very well concealed and the whole eye area appears lighter and brighter after applying quite a small amount of the product. Instant Radiance lasts well, it is still providing cover at the end of the day, but a further application will boost its effectiveness.

I have used this product for several years and would not even consider going back to YSL, as I am entirely happy with both the price and the effectiveness. If you have not yet used Instant Radiance, I would recommend that you give it a try - it is not going to completely hide every mperfection, but it is about as good as any concealer could reasonably be expected to be.
