Advantages: Good applicator delivering excellent product
Disadvantages: none
As someone who struggles to get enough sleep I try to never be without No7 Instant Radiance Concealer. It does a great job covering the dark circles under my eyes and making me look as though I have had more sleep than I actually have.
It comes in a slim black box with gold writing and the container inside has the same colours. It is about the size of a fattish pen with a pull off top and a click button at the other end. When you take off the top it reveals a small brush for dabbing the magic potion onto the face. When it is first used a few clicks of the button are required to get the concealer liquid moving through to the brush but once it gets going just one or two clicks are needed to get the required amount as not that much is needed to do the job.
Now you know how it works you can start concealing those dark circles. Just dab the brush lightly under the eye area in little dots and then gently blend in with finger tips. I find it works best if applied over foundation as it contains light reflecting particles that brighten the skin and these would be lost if applied before foundation. It can also be used to cover blemishes very effectively. It is available in 3 different shades to match skin tones and has a coloured circle on the box to indicate the shade inside.
Although not as expensive as, say, Touche Eclat, at £12.75 it isn't as cheap as some other makes. However, I find it worth every penny as it does an excellent job covering dark shadows and blemishes, is very easy to apply and blends with skin tone perfectly. One wand usually lasts me several months as not very much is required to give a good effect and I have never had a problem with it drying out or the wand not working correctly. I hope No7 never change it as it is perfect how it is.
My only problem with it is that it is so good that I have to hide it from my teenage daughter as she finds it benefits her to "borrow" mine rather than pay out her pocket money on one for herself!
Summary: A definite must for any cosmetic bag
