Boots Intelligent Balance Mousse THE PROMISE The mousse claims to give skin a powder soft finish, and because of the light diffusing particles fine lines will be softened and a luminous look will be achieved. Apparently skin will stay shine free all day, and it will feel "barely there". It is claimed that the mousse is so clever that it knows where the skin needs to keep its moisture and where it needs to hold back the shine. PRODUCT AND PACKAGING The mousse comes packaged in a black box, and once opened is actually in a small glass pot with a screw on/off lid with no 7 written on the lid. There is also a small ... I bought this foundation a few weeks ago after looking for a new foundation which lasted all day and decided to give it a try. Packaging Firstly, it comes in a glass bottle with a black lid. With it being glass it is quite heavy but you don't need to carry it around all day so it suited me. It seemed to me that you don't get very much in for what you pay for but I was wrong. The box (like most No 7 products) comes in a well presented black box with gold writing. Although there may not be as much/ or the same as a normal foundation it lasts much longer due to the fact that you don't have to apply much at all to take make an effect. ... Armed with yet another £5 off No7 voucher I went into town this morning, I noticed when I was doing my 'Whats in your make-up bag?' review that I hadn't actually got a foundation, only a tinted moisturiser so with that in mind I went to the No7 make-up department in Boots. I love No7 foundations as they do a shade which is really pale and perfect for my skin tone; New Ivory, which is even paler than the usual Ivory colours! I've used both the Intelligent Colour and Essential Moisture No7 foundations but never tried this, the newest addition to the range. The packaging ---------------------------- This foundation is in a square box, ... Read the complete review

Like most of the Boots No.7 range, this product comes nicely packaged although the pot is a little deceptive as it looks and feels generously sized when in fact proportionately, there is not THAT much product inside for your money. However I have found that you only need to use a very small amount to get an even, flawless look. I am a terrible 'blusher' and get very embarassed about it (which obviously makes it worse) so need a foundation with good coverage. What I like about this product is that it gives that level of coverage without ever feeling heavy or caked on. The end result is matte and shine free but not dry or dull, and unlike some other matte ... Read the complete review
