Advantages: Don't need much for effect
Disadvantages: Not for all skin types
I bought this foundation a few weeks ago after looking for a new foundation which lasted all day and decided to give it a try.
Packaging
Firstly, it comes in a glass bottle with a black lid. With it being glass it is quite heavy but you don't need to carry it around all day so it suited me. It seemed to me that you don't get very much in for what you pay for but I was wrong. The box (like most No 7 products) comes in a well presented black box with gold writing.
Although there may not be as much/ or the same as a normal foundation it lasts much longer due to the fact that you don't have to apply much at all to take make an effect.
Summary
This is a brilliant foundation although for me it does have its flaws:
I sometimes get quite dry skin and the foundation shows this more than others I have tried. However, I have found that if I apply moisturiser first then this does not happen. But, for those of you that don't like using moisturiser or don't have time for it than I would not recommend it (if you have dry skin).
Also the foundation tends to show spots that you have on your skin so I would be a little aware of that but if you use concealer first like I do then it is generally fine.
It cost me £11 pound for 30g tub which is quite expensive, but, when you work it out to how much longer it lasts you it tends to be around the same price as foundations of a lot less quality.
To apply it I only need a little on my finger and it spreads around my face. I wouldn't advice using a foundation pad to apply this as it tends to leave a lot of it dried into the pad and not much on your face. So I just use my fingers and it goes on fine.
Overall, it is a brilliant product and I would recommend it depending on your skin type and what you have time to put on before (as explained above). So what are you waiting for because at the minute boots are offering £5 off on No 7 products when you buy something instore, so give it a try.
Summary: Great
