Advantages: Goes on lovely, nice texture, pretty good coverage
Disadvantages: Not good for dryer skins as theres NO highlighting affects whatsoever, can make skin look dull.
Due to the sunshine in the summer months, my skin goes up to two shades darker, so whilst looking for a new darker foundation, i came across Boots No.7 Intelligent Balance Mousse Foundation.
I'd read some really good reviews about this foundation, claiming it gave a matt but dewy finish and very good coverage. I was slightly worried about buying this however as i have quite dry skin and as it is a mousse i thought it may cling to it. But i listened to the reviews and brought it anyway.
So after purchasing it off ebay for a good price, i took it home and applied it to my newly tanned face :)
The foundation comes in quite a large round pot with a little spatula. Useless for actually applying the foundation, but if you have long nails like me, it is fantastic as i HATE getting foundation stuck underneath them!
I applied it, and took a good look at my face. Hmmmm, the coverage was...pretty good actually, i found it turned to powder and gave a soft finish. However, there was no dewy-ness at all, which i look for in a foundation. It did not cling to my dry patches - a good thing, but i found it left my complexion looking quite dull which made me doubt the coverage.
After applying some of my highlighter with it, it did look alot better, but i found after a few hours, quite a bit of the foundation had rubbed off my face which was disappointing.
I will not purchase it again, but thats not to say its terrible. I would give it a try yourself :)
A definite 3 stars.
Summary: I'd still try it, it might be good for you :)
