When I tried this product, I was more than a little sceptical. I was used to having to try numerous different shades of foundation and, usually by more luck than judgement, end up with one that vaguely suited my skin tone. So, the thought that one shade could suit all skin tones, whilst tempting, I couldn't see would work.

However, somewhat bizarrely, this foundation really does seem to seem to adjust to your skin tone - I still don't see how it works, but it really does! Once you get over the almost mud like feeling of the product, and you really blend it into your skin well, it provides a good covering that suits your tone. It leaves a natural finish - doesn't leave you looking coated like some foundations can, and you don't get that horrid tide mark line around the edge of your face.

As an added bonus, it comes with SPF built in, so you don't need to bother using sun screen under/over your foundation.

As with the other products in the No 7 range, you get excellent quality at a reasonable price - £14.75 for 40mls - lasts quite a long time. Also, No 7 always seem to have offer on, so you can normally get 3 for 2 or a free gift which makes the product all the more reasonable.

For me, this is pretty much the perfect foundation - good coverage without having the trauma of trying numerous different shades at the make up counter. If you are running low on foundation and are short of time, give it a go, you may just find your perfect shade.
