Advantages: Long lasting and great for imperfect nails
Disadvantages: Speed dry is too fast at drying!
I am a massive fan of no7!
Since I hit 30 (ages ago lol) I ditched the cheap rubbish I had previously used.
I loved the simplicity of the no7 counter, the very professional and knowledgeable staff and the choice.
It feels more of a grown up range as there is no17 for the younger generation!
No7 nail varnishes for me are the best of the middle of the range cosmetics.
They are above your collection 2000 and Rimmels and up there with your Revlons and Max Factors before you take the hike up to the Chanels!
Ok the stuff you need to know!
Hypo-allergenic , fragrance free and flammable!
The packaging....
Square, clear bottle filled with colour of your choice, black screw on lid with a gold no7 indentation into the lid and small writing on the front telling you what it is etc. Very classy looking. The brush is quite long and of quality meaning that the hairs don't glue themselves to your nail along with your colour!
The new range of colour miracle varnishes come in 8 lovely colours, really shimmery and pretty!
Suitable for a grown up that doesn't want glittery fingers but still want party talons.
It just glides on and is great for covering up imperfections on the nail bed such as ridges (which i myself have got).
These bottles are currently £6.50 each and in 10ml bottles.
The stay perfect range comes in 30ml bottles for £6.25 in some really lovely shades, very petal being my top favourite at the moment, a kind of purple colour!
It promises to last 5 days though I do not quite agree with that on finger nails, but on toes no problems at all, mine lasted a whole week.
Although it is very good quality I'd say it lasted 3 days tops with two coats on fingers which without a chip but still is better than most!
Then there is the speed dry range which took over from ultimate colour.
This is £6.25 for 30ml.
I'm not keen on this particular nail varnish as its so fast drying its almost started to dry before you've painted a nail which means it can look patchy.
Also I feel because it is made as a fast drying varnish it lacks staying power instead.
This is the one product from no7 I wouldn't bother with.
This for me to summarise is a product I trust for great results every time (excluding the speed dry range), they cover imperfections (particularly the lighter colours) and they don't stain the nail to yellow by not removing the colour regularly which you can find with cheaper nail varnishes so these are kinder.
The only thing I would say is at these prices you need to be sure your happy with the colour you've chosen by testing it on your nail first and having a think.
Think if it as an investment!
Summary: A little bit of posh!
