I tend to favour Clinique Blushing Blush Powder Blush when it comes to blusher but unfortunately it comes with a rather high price tag. When it came to buying an additional blusher that I could store in my make up bag that I take to the gym, I turned to Boots No 7 Natural Blush Cheek Colour as blusher is a must for me. Otherwise my cheeks have absolutely no definition whatsoever!

No 7 Natural Blush Cheek Colour blends smoothly and easily for natural looking colour. It is hypoallergenic and fragrance free.

*Application*

The first thing that you need to know is that you don't get a small brush with the product to apply the blusher so this is something that you will be to purchase.

Once you have a brush, applying this blusher is relatively simple. You can apply the blusher effectively and easily to bare skin or on top of foundation or powder. All you need to do is sweep a small amount using a blusher brush. Only a little of the product is required but regardless of how much you apply, you don't get the red cheeks clown look that you receive sometimes when over applying the blusher. I tend to start with one sweep of the blusher but for a more intense look, you just need to continue the application of the blusher. The effect it has is fantastic. Sweep the brush upwards from just below your temples towards your hairline.

If you feel that one sweep isn't enough, then add a little more. At least if you add to it afterwards, you won't have to wipe your make up off and start again. Use this product well and your cheeks will look defined and stunning.

No 7 Natural Blush Cheek Colour is only available to buy from Boots stores. Alternatively, you can buy it online from www.boots.com if you prefer to buy via the internet.

This blusher will cost you a mere £8.60 compared to the steep £18 that Clinique Blushing Blush Powder Blush. The price is very reasonable when you consider the prices of alternatives that are available to buy. My advice is to keep an eye out and buy it whilst No 7 have their 3 for 2 offers going on which are quite regular. That way, you will save yourself about £8. And everyone likes something for nothing.

*My Opinion*

The packaging: No 7 Natural Blush Cheek Colour is packaged in a small black oval-shaped compact that has a clear area on the front so that you can see the colour of the blusher. It is a flip compact so the top simply tosses open to allow you access to the blusher. I like the packaging as it is recognisable to the No 7 range and like their other products, simple and classic. The only thing that slightly disappoints me about the product packaging is the lack of a mirror although it isn't a big deal.

Texture and colour: The consistency of this blusher is very soft and smooth and sits in the compact in a pressed powder form. Its velvetiness allows the blusher to slide effortlessly onto your skin. As for the colour, the colour that I own is called Soft Damson and is a dull pink. It gives me definition on my cheeks but does not look cheap and tacky like some blushers can tend to. I only usually need a single sweep of the blusher on each cheek although when I want to develop a more intense colour, I sweep over the cheek again until the desired look have been reached.

Longevity of the product: This blusher lasts an extremely long time. I have had mine well over a year now and although I don't use it on a daily basis, it still has a fair amount left in the compact.
Staying power: This blusher lasts pretty much all day. Towards the end of the day it does look like the blusher needs to be reapplied although it is at work that I wear this blusher and by the time it looks as though it is fading, it is time to go home where nobody is going to see it anyway so it isn't a problem that I will be worrying about.

Range of colours: There are four colours that are available to buy in this range. They are Petal, Soft Damson, Soft Apricot and Honey. These colours are sufficient to colour all skin tones and they are subtle colours that create a maximum effect look if required. The colour that I own, Soft Damson, does not have any hint of glitter so those of you that despair when you open a blusher to find glitter particles need not worry.

Does No 7 Natural Blush Cheek Colour sweep on sheer colour for an instant glow? It most certainly does. The impact of the blusher is instant as it brightens and defines your cheeks immediately. And the effectiveness is fantastic. Whenever I wear this blusher, I always get nice remarks saying that I have a nice glow about me which is always nice to hear.

Does it blend smoothly and easily for natural looking colour? Yes it does. The blush blends very easily and leaves you cheeks looking fabulous yet natural.

The product is hypo-allergenic and fragrance free which I think helps to prevent my skin from gaining additional spots which I do suffer from quite badly when I use poor quality cosmetics or skin care products. You can tell by the texture of the blusher that no harm will be caused and the fact that is doesn't clog up your pores.

*Would I Recommend This Product?*

I would most definitely recommend this product as I have found it to be high in quality and affordable in price. It is one of the best blushers that I have had the pleasure of using and it lasts a very long time indeed. If you are looking for a subtle blusher that you can intensify for a natural look and give definition to your cheeks then look no further than No 7 Natural Blush Cheek Colour.

No 7 have yet again created a product that is fantastic! They are a brand that I have come to trust and rely on when it comes to make up and this blusher has increased my belief that they are one of the best brands around. The quality and longevity of the product is superb. No 7 Natural Blush Cheek Colour gives you wonderfully defined cheekbones, even if like me you don't have them.
