==Boots No 7 Amazing Eyes Pencil==

I do like my Boots No 7 make up as I find that the price is reasonable for the quality that you get. Of course the fact that there are always tons of different special offers on the range and that I always get my 10% discount when shopping at Boots plus the little bonus of getting Advantage Card points. It all adds up to making this range a really affordable high quality one. I bought this No 7 Amazing Eyes Pencil ages ago now and the pencil is still going strong even though I do use it on a fairly regular basis.

The pencil retails for around the £7 region which I think is more or less what I paid for it and I feel that this is a really good price considering how long I have had it and when comparing it to other brands eye pencils. I have the shade called leaf though having just had a look on the Boots website it would appear that they have changed this product somewhat and now offer more shades at a slightly cheaper price. I really couldn't say whether the change of shade names represents a total change of product but they do still often a green shade called pine green.

The pencil came housed in a plastic cellophane type coating which protects it from loosing the two lids that it has. I like the fact that it doesn't come in a box or other unnecessary packaging and the plastic coating has a perforation on the top which makes this easy to remove and get into the product.

The two lids on the pencil offer protection for the nib of the pencil itself and the other end of the product has a little sponge type pad tip that the second lid is protecting. This sponge type tip is for blending in the pencil when applied to the eye area and I must say this sets this eye pencil above its competitors as a lot of other branded pencils don't offer this little added extra.

The leaf shade is of course a nice and rather subtle green tone which, with my green eyes seems to bring the colour of them out more. I like to use the eye pencil on the bottom of my eye underneath my bottom lashes and this is where the little sponge applicator tip on the other end of the pencil comes in as it makes it nice and easy to blend in the pencil to create a much more subtle look than before using it.

The nib of the pencil is a smooth and creamy one which makes it very easy to apply to the skin without too much effort or dragging of the delicate skin area. The softness of the pencil also makes it easy to blend using the sponge tip. Even though it is easy to apply this doesn't mean that it rubs off or wears away easily as I have to say that the product has good longevity throughout the day and is still where I applied it when I come to remove it in the evening.

Sharpening the pencil is not the easiest I have come across because of the soft nib but as long as I am gentle with the pencil and don't try to get a too sharp a point to it, it seems to be an average pencil to sharpen and the nib doesn't break off too much.

Removing the eye pencil seems to be pretty easy and although I use a variety of different eye make up remover from a cleanser and a flannel, face wipes of various brands or proper waterproof make up remover with cotton wool pads, all seem able to remove this amazing eyes pencil with relate ease and without any discomfort.

I can't really find fault with this wonderful pencil. I am coming to the end of it soon and am a bit disappointed now I have checked the Boots website and seen that the product has changed somewhat especially as it is such a great pencil. It has really lasted me ages as a little goes along way and not only it is easy to use but also lasts well throughout the day and also is removed without hassle at night.

I think I am more than happy to award a top score of 5 out of 5 star and I would highly recommend this to everyone and anyone
