As you may have guessed from previous reviews I am a huge fan on the No7 range at Boots and like to at least attempt to try and sample all they new products that they make. I was first given this mascara for Christmas about a year ago from my mother and it has been a firm favourite of mine ever since, but Ill leave my opinions till later. Appearance & Packaging: This mascara comes in quite an ordinary shaped tube, nothing about its shape of design that sets it out from the crowd, with the name written on the front in gold lettering. Unfortunatley it doesnt have any ingrediants on the back or anything which could be a problem if you have ... Read the complete review

I have always been a fussy customer when it comes to buying mascara, for one thing I have a small phobia of eyes so putting a mascara wand near them is a brave for me and secondly they are quite sensitive so I have to be careful on what products I try. The Boots number 7 Intense volume mascara was part of a gift set form when I spent over £20 in the number 7 range and came in a small trial sized wand, I tried it and since themn I have not looked any further for a mascara. The Mascara itself comes in 4 different shades;black, brown/black, brown and navy and I always opt for the black shade as it is best suited to me. The wand of mascaa is 7ml incapacity and ... Boots No 7 Intense Volume Mascara is one of the only mascaras that I use now as I suffer from sensitive skin & eyes and need something that I can rely on to work without it irritating my eyes. It is available in four colours: black, brown/black, grey & navy blue but I have only ever tried the black one as I am really not very adventurous when it comes to mascara. This mascara is provided in a long tube and as you undo the lid and pull it out it has the brush attached for applying the mascara. There are lots of bristles all around the brush and really good coverage. To use the mascara simply dip it in to the tube and pump it up and down a ... Read the complete review

'Intense Volume' my fat backside! Although I am well aware I am going against the dooyoo consensus of opinion about this Boots No7 black wand mascara, I have seldom been so disappointed in a cosmetics product - EVER! Am sorely tempted to rattle off a short review up to the basic word allowance on this topic, and then take the 50p and run as far as my arthritic hips can take me - but why write a diatribe in 150 words when many, many more negative adjectives will do? Besides which, my fellow reviewers will know by now I couldn't stop at the minimum Premium 150 word 'genuine and useful' write up, if my life depended on it! Right ... Read the complete review

I own this mascara in navy, black and brown - so you can tell I'm a fan! I haven't personally gone out and bought it (mine were various gifts) but I wouldn't begrudge spending money on this product. I can't say it gives me "intense" volume but I was unfortunately blessed with pathetic stumpy little lashes (how I envy my brothers with their long, thick lashes). It definately thickens them up and defines them though. I use it as an everyday mascara for work. Application is easy, no new-fangled, awkward shaped brush. No clumps, and no spidery eyelashes as a result. It also doesn't sting *that* much if you accidentally poke yourself in the eye ... Read the complete review
