Advantages: Well designed brush, makes my lashes look pretty.

Disadvantages: A little expensive when purchased at full price.

Boots No 7 Intense Volume Mascara is one of the only mascaras that I use now as I suffer from sensitive skin & eyes and need something that I can rely on to work without it irritating my eyes.

It is available in four colours: black, brown/black, grey & navy blue but I have only ever tried the black one as I am really not very adventurous when it comes to mascara.

This mascara is provided in a long tube and as you undo the lid and pull it out it has the brush attached for applying the mascara. There are lots of bristles all around the brush and really good coverage. To use the mascara simply dip it in to the tube and pump it up and down a few times before applying it to your eyelashes (I do top & bottom on each eye but everyone is different!). I find that this mascara gives fantastic even coverage with the odd occasional clump (as I find with all mascaras) but this is easily solved by running the brush along the top of the open tube and then this gets rid of any access.

This mascara seems to last me throughout the day as I often apply it first thing in the morning and don't take it off until last thing at night, I do usually give it a little top up midway through the day but I don't think that this would be necessary. I find the mascara very easy to remove using make-up wipes or just soap & water but I would recommend getting some good make-up wipes as it might be a little tougher to remove with just soap & water (but it is possible!).

It does give me far longer eyelashes than I normally have and it does give me intense volume, people always comment on how nice I look, in general, when I am wearing this so it must be doing something right!

A tube of this mascara is currently £10.30 from Boots stores or www.boots.co.uk but I would recommend looking out for £5.00 of No 7 Vouchers or 3 for 2 on No 7 (this runs very frequently). I do think it's a tad expensive on it's own but I would buy it for this price if there was never any offers available!

I am rating this mascara 5/5 as it's easy to apply, long lasting, easy to remove and it doesn't flake away throughout the day.

Summary: A fantastic little wand of mascara that gives me pretty eyes.
