As I had previously tried the No7 Amazing Eye Pencil I thought I would give the Metallic Eyes Pencil a go. There are 5 colours in total in the range which are Green, Turquoise, Blue, Gold and Purple. I decided on Purple as it looked a nice shade and didn't look too obvious a colour so I would be easily able to wear this shade during the day. The gold shade also looked good and would be perfect to wear on a night out to give my eyes a bit more sparkle. This eye pencil is priced at £7.00 and I realised that I had a make up voucher that gave you £5.00 off the No7 range so this helped cut the cost down considerably. At full price this item is a little ... Read the complete review

The the other day whilst in Boots I remembered I had a £5.00 off Ruby & Millie or No7 make up (to be used in Boots) and when I looked in my purse to check I had it I actually had four of them so I decided to use one up and treat myself to something. One of my favourite make up brands for quality is Boots No7. At 35 years old nowadays I like somewhat sensible make-up. I don't like the mutton dressed as lamb look and tend to keep my make up rather plain but I do like one item of something a bit different and modern and one way of doing that is by using an eyeliner that is bright and fun. The Boots No 7 eye metalic eye pencils are brilliant and I would recommend them to anyone for daytime or evening. There are a variety of shades: purple, blue, gold, green and turquoise, all of which I own. The shades of the colours are very sophisticated and do not look cheap in the slightest, which I have found with other brand's coloured eye pencils e.g. Rimmel. The eyeliner is just like any ordinary one in terms of how you use it, however, it is a lot thicker than most others and very easy to sharpen with a sharpener, as it does not crack or splinter like some can. For day wear, the eye pencil works well if you wear it as an eyeshadow, as it easily glides ... Read the complete review

These amazing eye pencils came out within the last two months along with other festive products such as a glitter liquid eye liner from No7. I own a metallic pencil in green and purple. When reading that, I am guessing to many people those colours sound ever so slightly crazy! Well the green one I have purchased to wear over Christmas for a few parties and have tried it on and it is not over powering or too bright. The purple liner is a very dark purple and when I apply it the colour looks very blackish with a hint of purple. So if you are looking for a vibrant purple colour then this is not for you. If however, like me you are looking for an eye liner ... Read the complete review
