      Great nail product from no7

Mulling over the Boots No 7 counter and deciding what to spend my skincare and make up vouchers on was no hardship. I love virtually all the No7 range and love to try new items. They also currently have a 3 for 2 offer across the range which provides great value for money. At the moment my nails are a great length and condition but I really want to keep them this way so decided to invest in the No 7 Nail and Cuticle care.

      Packaging

My tube is different to the one pictured. Quite recently the No7 range has been repackaged in smart white packaging and the tube inside the box is also now white. it is sort of see through as well so you can see how much product is left. The tube is 10ml and as you only use a small amount with each application, this will last a long time.

      In use
I like to use my nail cream late at night to give it chance to sink in as it seems I am forever washing my hands between cooking, cleaning and nappy changes thus stripping the skin and nails of their natural oils. The cream is a light consistency and sinks in to the nail bed quickly. To me there is no discernible fragrance but I prefer this to a fragranced product.

      The claim
Provides continuous moisture to nourish and soothe whilst regular massage promotes nail growth. For best results, use daily.

      My thoughts
I love taking care of my nails and it feels nice to give myself a bit of me time after a busy day. I hate having dry hands and cracked cuticles as they can be painful and by using this cream it makes me less likely to pick at dry bits around the nails.

      Price
This product is a reasonable £6 which is great when used with a voucher. Please note you can't use two vouchers in one transaction at the till so the 3 for 2 will not work with both the skin care and make up vouchers. I hope this makes sense. You do however get your Boots points with each transaction.

      Final word
I think I have now found another No 7 product that I am hooked on. I will definitely buy another of these when this one runs out as it really helps me to take care of my nails and is not greasy or unpleasant to use.

soft moisturised cuticles and healthy nails

I used to have lovely healthy nails but two kids and a lot of housework down the road and they are appearing ever so slightly neglected. I have a tendancy to find a bit of skin at the side of my nail and pick until it becomes really sore!

I have recently discovered N07 nourishing nail and cuticles care, I had a £5 voucher and this was the cheapest N07 product I could get that was something I actually needed so it was not so much an intended purchase as much as it was a good deal so I thought I would give it a bash!

The tube is tiny but then most things to do with nails are, it is a black squeezy tube with gold writing, it contains 10ml of cream but as you only need a tiny amount this is not an issue, it lasts for ages, even with regular use.

The back of the tube states that it 'provides continuous moisture to nourish and smooth while regular massage promotes nailgrowth' it also says to massage into cuticles and nails daily.

I tend to keep a tube handy near the sofa so that it is handy for me to grab when I get chance to put my feet up. The cream is easily squeezed from the tube, it has a kind of point to the nozzle making it easy and clean to apply, you only need a small amount, I put it at the base of each finger nail on one hand and rub it in with the other hand. The cream does absorb really easily and leaves cuticles soft and moisturised.

I would recomend this product to busy mums as it is a bit of pampering that we all deserve that takes two minutes to do and actually has results!

A well deserved 5 stars for this one.

      Advantages

      Disadvantages

Lasts a long time and works miracles

I always used to wear false nails and was forever getting told off about my cuticles being so dry and yellow. So I brought this product as I love No7 and use it all the time.

This nourishing nail and cuticle care works miracles, with in a few weeks my nails improved dramatically and my cuticles became perfect. It was as if I never abused my hands. I also suffer from sensitive skin and allergies and this was perfect to suit my needs I even checked this out with the ladies behind the desk, I even left with 100% satifaction with the customer service I recieved.

So the product comes out as a cream and you only need a small amount, you rub it into clean dry hands. I use this twice a day, but you can use it as and when you want to. The cream is very gentle and it is not too runny either so not wasted cream.

This cream works instantly with amazing results, your nails become rehydrated and re norished leaving your nails stronger and healthier than before. My cuticles were left brilliant and my nail technition was very impressed with my new finger tips.

If your struggling with nails and cuticles do not hesitate buy this for amazing results. It costs less than £10 so do not miss out!

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

        Worth every penny!

When it comes to my fingernails I bite them terribly and it's a habit I've had for years and doubt very much I have the willpower to ever stop, and boy oh boy have I tried lol My toenails are pretty bad too. I'm a clumsy clot (usually when drunk lol) and constantly trip or drop things on them resulting in rather wobbly, ridgy and cracked, weak nails. One thing I really hate is overgrown cuticles which I was really prone to (before purchasing this product lol). For anyone on the planet that doesn't know what a cuticle is your either really lucky to not have them all overgrown or your cuticles are a mess and you don't care anyway lol

What a cuticle is, is light skin that sort of holds nail in, in it's appearance. It's usually quite transparent in colour and grows over the base of the nail as a sort of seal. You don't actually really need this skin there at all and for the that reason I use cuticle scissors in the main.

My cuticles always seem really dry. I bite them off on my fingernails resulting in blood smearing and sore open wounds but on my toenails it's not so easy to bite off! Scissors down there at an angle can be deadly and I always almost lop a toe off and this is why I purchased this when I was in Boots, priced at £6.25 per tube. I bought it as a necessity for once!

        The Packaging....

Well it comes in a small long black, cardboard, recyclable box with gold writing on it that tells me what it is and who it is by on the front. On the back there is bit written about the product, size is stated with contact details for Boots given and the recycle symbol is displayed.

The tube of the product is also black and has gold writing. On the front I am told it is No7, Nourishing Nail & Cuticle Care and that it's Hypo-Allergenic. On the back I'm told a bit about the product, how to use it, contact details for Boots are given (as this is a Boots own product), the recycle symbol is shown and finally the size of the product is stated (10ml and the only size available to purchase this in). At the bottom of the tube there is a twist on/off cap and under that there is a longish thin nozzle. It's a nice handy little size tube and looks a nice and classy!

A Bit About The Product (According To The Back Of The Box And Tube....

Provides continuous moisture to nourish and soothe while regular massage promotes nail growth.

        Directions For Use....

Massage into your nails and cuticles daily.

        My Experience With The Product....

If you have horrible dry nails and/or cracked dried and uncomfortable cuticles this is totally amazing. The cream itself is a great consistency. It comes out of the tube with a really gentle squeeze and is a thinnish lotion with a bit of body within it which means no drips or messiness at all. You just squirt a teeny amount on your nail and massage it in as directed which takes literally a second to do. The lotion disappears really quickly into the nail leaving no greasy or sticky residue. The smell of this is lovely too. Slightly of fruit but nothing heavy or distinctive and that smell is only there whilst applying it and then vanishes so if you want to eat a sandwich feel free the lotion has evaporated and doesn't taste. If you want to use a hand-cream on your hands then a dab of his on to nails as well or use it alone on problem areas. So small an amount of this is needed that I have owned mine over a year now and used it almost every day on either my fingernails or toenails and still got loads left so don't be put off by the size of this product there is more than enough in there believe me!

        Results....

Amazing. This stuff doesn't 'eat' up your cuticles. What it does is as soon as you apply it, it softens them up. My cuticles, particular on my fingers can feel really tight and ragged (due to me biting them) and what this does is softens them making them more comfortable so if I'm out without the tools to remove them this is instant relief. Also when it comes to trimming them with prolonged use (over a couple of weeks of daily application) I can almost scrape them off gently with an orange stick or trim them with ease as the skin is thinner and more hydrated. Generally nails looks smoother too although feel stronger in general and when this is on the nails (straight after application) my nails look glossy and moisturised, but again not in a greasy way.

For best results in my view this is best used every day but if like me you forget then no worries. This may look like a calm and collected product but it totally wages war on your nails so no worries. Every time you use it, it works in some way. It just works temporarily and making it all feel better for the time being. Over time though you will just see that cuticles don't really want to appear and you'll see the benefits about remembering to use this product lol!

This really is a fabulous product from Boots that really does work and mean buisness. All round I love it. From the ease of application, the fact that it works out in the long run to be so economical and that this really, really works for me. I really recommend this and wouldn't want to be without a tube (in this weather) in my handbag!

        Brilliant!

          Advantages

          Disadvantages

          Really does work!

Wow! How wonderful is this cuticle cream?!

After weeks of moaning on to colleagues about my dry cuticles it was suggested that I try No7 Cuticle Cream. Off I went to my local Boots armed with my £5 off No 7 cosmetics voucher and asked at the counter. The assistant came back with the most wonderful product.

I took it home and applied it that evening and I can honestly say that I noticed the difference the next day. My cuticles were much softer to the touch. I told hubby about it and he asked me apply it to his rough worked hands. The next day I asked him if he could notice a difference and he replied with a yes. For it to work on hubbys dry cuticles is amazing! We both use it now every night before bed, if only his work mates new!

Anyway, some more useful info for you. It is stocked at the No7 counter in Boots in a black box with gold writing. It costs £6.25 for a 10ml squeezy tube. It has a thin nozzle for applying around the cuticle and a little goes a long way. It's a thick white cream that is easy to apply and absorbs well. It has a pleasant fragrance that you can smell for up to an hour after you've applied it.

The tube says to apply daily and I would agree as I forgot for a couple of days and you can notice the difference.

This really is worth the £6.25 spend. It works well and smells lovely.
