I got loads of makeup sets bought me for Christmas and a few on them were No7 which is cool as it is a really good quality brand name and I've been using makeup for a few years now...

One of the presents I got was a lip liner which I though up until recently I would never use.

The product is a 'Perfect Lip Pencil' in 20 Nude colour which is just like a very matte brown colour, no shine at all. At first I didn't like that but find it works well with colour glosses as it is very faint rather than bold so doesn't take over the outline of the mouth...

It is described by Boots the maker as: 'Soft and smooth moisturising pencil for ultimate lip definition.'

At first I couldn't see the point of painting something around my lips that you could hardly see until I filled the lips in wit a rich gloss and then they looked great!

The liner itself is in a plastic slender tube with a click on lid with little sharpeners built in each side to keep the point of the soft pencil sharp for neater coverage. The length of the pencil is about four inches so easy to pop in a bag or carry around in a pocket?

Boots makeup is really good quality and isn't tested on animals which are both important, plus on of the main things to now about a cosmetic like this is does it stay on and does it comes off ok.

Yes it comes off easily with makeup wipes and it goes on really smoothly, it is quite soft so doesn't drag the skin at all and you can just remove any mistakes with a bit of facial cleanser on a cotton bud.

It just needs a bit of practice until you can outline the lips neatly but it doesn't take long once you've got the hang of it and it looks really effective!

I really like lip pencils now I've tried one and can definitely say that this brand is a really good liner so five stars from me :)
