“ Brand: Boots / Type: Bronzing Powder / Subcategory: Bronzer / What it does: Bronzes, „
My face seems to be the last thing to catch the sun so I always like to apply a bit of bronzer to give me a nice healthy glow. Over the years, I have tried lots of different versions, the most recent one being from No 7.
The bronzer is available from Boots, either online or in store, it's also available on EBay. The RRP is £11.50 for a 10g compact, what I like about No 7 is that Boots run a lot of offers on the range such as 3 for 2, or buy one get one half price, the also quite frequently offer a £5 off No 7 voucher when spending more than £5 in store.
I prefer mosaic effect bronzers as I find that they blend a lot easier and look less 'orange' than block colours, this one is no different. The compact powder is made up of lots of different colours, which have a nice shimmer to them too, they blend really nicely with just a couple of circular sweeps and the powder transfers really easily to my face. I sometimes find that when applying bronzer than I end up with more down my top or on the sink than on my face but this one does a great job of transferring from brush to my face. I find that that powder does an excellent job of giving me that warm sun kissed look - but best of all, it looks natural.
After applying, I find that the bronzer stays in place for most of the day so I don't need to touch up. The compact does actually have a little mirror in too so if I ever do need to reapply, I can do so easily which I find really handy.
Overall, I like the bronzer and I would recommend but I do think there are cheaper versions available and for that reason, I would only give 4 out of 5 stars.
