Advantages: Does Exactly What It Says On The Tin, Fantastic Range of Colours

Disadvantages: Getting It Off!!

Eyeliner is probably my biggest make up downfall. I love it! So when I heard that No7 were releasing a Stay Perfect one claiming to be long lasting and waterproof just in time for my honeymoon (lots of swimming and lots of photo's) I had to buy it.

It comes in a range of bright and exciting colours and adds a fantastic finishing touch of colour to your eyes for a night out. The 'tamer' shades are fantastic for wearing without eyeshadows to add a bit of colour in the office.

The packaging is very simple and typical of the No7 range but I really liked it as it clearly shows the colour of the liner (makes it so much easier to find the colour I want in the Mary Poppins Make Up Bag I seem to own).

The brush applicator is very soft and does take one or two practices in order to get the hang of it compared to the 'pen tips' that I have used with some other eyeliners. Once you get the hang of it, which will be quickly, you're off! As long as you don't stab yourself in the eye you should be fine.

The liner liquid is very thick making it much easier to get a thick and solid line along your eyelid. This is fantastic if you're like me with the shaky hands syndrome. The downside to this is that it feels very heavy and wet on your skin, you do need to leave it a minute before doing anything else as it will smudge.

Now - how to test a 'Stay Perfect' eyeliner? Jetskiing of course! I thought that since I would be splashed in the face with salt water all day, if it was going to wash off, at least it would wash off fast before the camera was to be brought out back on dry land. I applied it first thing in the morning before exposing it to the very humid heat outside, I was very pleased to find (when I checked in the toilet mirrors a few hours later) that in that time it had not smudged despite rubbing at my eyes and the intensely warm weather. Now for the fun part - 20 mins on a jetski - it passed the test! It had faded a little but it had smeared down my face as has been my experience with other liquid liners. I was greatly impressed.

The only downside was trying to get it off! It took quite a bit of rubbing with my No7 Waterproof Make Up Remover to get rid of it.

So for £8.50 is it worth it? YES. One application lasting through heat, moisture, salt water and still looked good enough to go for a night out without reapplying..what more can you ask for?

Summary: This really does Stay Perfect, another fantastic item from No7.
