... know! It is almost a perfect cylinder shape apart from where it curves into the lid and then flares back out at the top this gives the bottle a very funky look and so I can see quite young people wanting to buy this. The bottoms half is glass and so you can see the nail varnish (which is clear) the lid is a dark blue/black colour with No7 written elegantly at the top I feel this makes the product look quite sophiticated. The brush is attached to the lid and so when it is uncrewed it comes out with it. The brush is q...more

Premium Review Boots No7 Stay Perfect Nail Top Coat: Nice shiny nails (370 words)

I love having bright coloured fingernails and toenails however one of the problems which comes with this is the fact that the nail polish chips quickly and after a day or two it needs re-doing otherwise it looks a mess. So while shopping in Boots I picked up No7 top coat, a clear nail varnish to apply to the top of my nice coloured nails which should hopefully reduce the chipping. As it was Boots owen brand it was slightly cheaper then the other top coats you can buy, however from looking at the bottle you wouldnt know! It is almost a perfect cylinder shape apart from where it curves into the lid and then flares back out at the top this gives the bottle a very ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review IT MIGHT BE BOOTS No7 - BUT IT'S CERTAINLY NOT TIP 'TOP' IN ... (370 words)

Hmm, Boots No7 'Stay Perfect' Top Coat...is it really as 'top' as it claims to be? Well, sadly, 'No it's not', in my humble opinion; which is a shame as I'm usually a very enthusiastic consumer of pretty much all of this brand name of nail polishes. In my experience (unlike it's predominantly 'coloured' counterparts), this completely clear product - designed to be the top sealing layer above the lower layers of varnish, is a complete nightmare as it has a highly 'plastic' finish that does not set well at all. Sold as a 10ml bottled item, within a plain glass black screw-lidded bottle adorned with Stay Perfect Nail Colour in little gold ...  Read the complete review

Boots No 7 products are prominent in by bedroom, I do like them and think they are good value for money in the middle range of beauty products. I don't always wear nail polish but do like wearing it especially if I am going out so like to make it last well and noticed when I had my nails manicured professionally that they always put on a Top coat. Boots No 7 Stay Perfect Top coat is in the same size as the nail varnish in a little glass bottle that starts life with a round base and the black shiny plastic top is oval at the top. There is 10 mls in the bottle and it costs £6.10 from Boots. I love the smell! A rather stronger smell than the old ...  Read the complete review

Its difficult to decide how many stars to give this product, it doesn't work very well as what it is meant to be but makes a lovely clear nail varnish! It is in a clear bottle with a black twist top, there is the usual No7 branding in gold on the top. The bottle itself has gold writing too saying 'Stay Perfect, Top Coat' .On the back of the bottle it just says 'Flammable, Boots Nottingham England, www.boots.com, 10ml' all in gold. There are no instructions on how to use the product but I guess it's pretty self-explanatory anyway. On the Boots website it just says "No7 Stay Perfect Nail Top Coat is the perfect top coat for No7 nail colours" so ...  Read the complete review

I have owned No.7's Top Coat for some time, but don't use it very often. I did however, use it last week and thought it would be a good time to write about it, while it is still fresh in my mind. ~About the product~ This is a Top Coat, basically a tough, clear varnish which is designed to be worn over the top of your nail polish, to give it a bit of extra protection from chips, while adding a glossy sheen. ~The Bottle~ As you can see from the picture, the product comes in a tall, clear glass bottle, which is in the same design as the other nail polishes from the No.7 range. When you unscrew the lid, you will see the neck of ...  Read the complete review
