Advantages: Nice compact, covers and blends well
Disadvantages: None that I have come across
I began using this compact last year after becoming annoyed with the lack of a mirror in my previous NO7 pressed powder.
I bought in in Boots during a promotion for £5.78 (usual price £7.78) as I was impressed with the packaging and because it had a mirror! Silly I know to buy on this basis but luckily the product was also very good. Anyway it is a round black compact with pink flowers around the rim. It is a decent size and the mirror is large and very clear. It comes with a very soft round sponge which feels lovely on your skin.
There are 4 colour options:
Beige Clair (lightest)
Sable Rose
Miel Dore
Abricote (darkest)
I have quite pale, freckly skin and found that Sable Rose suited me best. (I hate pressed powder that makes you look like a ghost!) The powder itself is quite silky and I found it provides longer lasting coverage than my previous compact. It doesn't last all day but as I have a fairly shiny t-zone I always have to reapply throughout the day so this didn't worry me too much. I have applied this straight onto my skin and also on top of foundation and/or concealer and each time it has covered well. As the compact is a decent size I think this should last me quite a while so I feel it is very good value for money.
A great buy!
Summary: A great value powder compact
