Advantages: Lengthens and lifts
Disadvantages: Thickening effect not very noticeable, colour brush quite short
I am not particularly loyal to one particular brand of make up however this is one I find myself coming back to for it's lengthening properties.
Packaging-
I love the black and white aspect of this mascara I think it looks great and looks really classy too. As you may know already it is split into 2 plastic sections, well 3 really you have your middle with the 2 wands then your lash fibres in one pot amd the colour in another pot.
Appearance-
Long slender and good looking tube of mascara, the brushes, well the white fibre brush is quite long and thin and the colour brush is quite short and a little fatter.
Usage-
I think it is very easy to use, firstly apply your lash fibres, either one coat or 2 of the white stuff, I think in most cases one coat does suffice. No need stand there letting it dry just whack the colour on from the other side of the mascara and hey presto, definitely go for 2 coats of the black stuff though. And you're away.
Effects-
The white fibres can be slightly clumpy but this does not pose a problem as it is not at all noticeable once colour is applied. With the actual colour brush being so short you have to spend a bit more time putting it on. I do not feel like it thickens a great deal but it does add length and uplift and gives a quite pretty effect. It does not look like false lashes though whatever it may claim. How can it, false lashes are huge unless you have really natural ones in which case it may be a similiar effect. I would not look at someone wearing this and think they had false eyelashes on however.
Price and availability-
Very widely available between £7-£10, I always get my mascaras off eBay as I do like the branded ones and it is therefore cheaper for me to purchase off the internet.
Summary-
A very decent product but would like more thickening properties and a longer mascara colour brush please. Ta!
