Advantages: non sticky
Disadvantages: doesnt last
I am reviewing this product in 12 Moka Frappe
Why i Chose this product:
I love lippys in all shapes and sizes- buying a lipgloss is a little afforadable beauty fix- i chose this particular item firstly because im very impressed by the entire bourjois range, their packaging is creative and eyecatching and their products are really luxurius, the prices arent too bad either. The fact that this lipgloss claimed to provide shine whilst not being sticky sounded great.
Who will like this product:
Fans of the bourjois range may want to add this to their collection.
Where to find this product:
Most shops that stock the makeup range Bourjois will include this lipgloss.
Cost:
£7.99 for 7ml of product
Packaging:
This quirky packaging drew my to this product. Its screw top lid is long with a clear bauble on top. The applicator is in a small brush form.
Product Description:
Product is unique as it is water based and is not runny or sticky like most glosses. It claims to have a moisturising 'fresh' effect on the lips. The smell and taste of this product is sweet, kind of like palma violets.
How to use:
Like most lipglosses apply a thin layer to the lips using the brush applicator.
Product Performance:
I think the non-sticky formula is innovative, the colour of this product is good and stills allows lips to look shiny, however i was slightly dissapointed at this products lack of lastibility. I seemed to be absorded into the lips quite quickly needing constant re-application, not so good for a big night out.
Recommendation:
Not a bad product and good for thoses who hate the usual stickiness of lipgloss, but it doesnt last that long and might not suit everyone.
Summary: not bad
